At 17:30 on February 11, China’s new carrier rocket Long March 8A carrier rocket ignited and took off from the Wenchang Space Launch Center in China. Subsequently, the rocket successfully sent the satellite Internet low-orbit 02 group of satellites into the predetermined orbit. The first flight mission of the Long March 8A rocket was a complete success, which marked that China’s new generation of carrier rocket family has added a new member and the Long March 8 carrier rocket has been serialized.

The ChangZheng – Long March 8A rocket was developed by the First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It is a two-stage and a half liquid carrier rocket independently developed by China. From the appearance, the rocket has a “bigger head”, which can provide a larger passenger space for satellites, adapt to more types and larger satellites, and have stronger mission adaptability.

The satellite Internet low-orbit 02 group of satellites was developed by the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

This launch is the 559th launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
