The Cathay x Start From Zero upcycled galley container is the ideal gift for the aviation enthusiast in your life. This pre-loved aircraft essential – known in the industry as a KSSU container – has retired from the skies and been given a unique upgrade at the hands of Hong Kong street-art-group-turned-woodwork-atelier Start From Zero. It now features three exquisitely crafted modular trays, which can be mixed and matched to offer flexible storage options, and a multi-purpose top, all created from recycled wood and featuring the carpenter’s signature pattern. This pre-loved galley container is the perfect nightstand, small coffee table or drinks cart for your home.

We’ve partnered with Hong Kong street-art-group-turned-woodwork-atelier Start From Zero, to bring you this exquisite mahjong set which combines the best of old and new.
Inspired by the beautifully carved mahjong boxes of the early 1900s, this intricate box has been handcrafted from recycled wood and features carefully considered retro design details: rounded corners, retractable openings which slide out of the way, an elegant leather strap for easy transport, and a slick top compartment for dice, wooden wager chips, wind indicator and alignment stick.
Housed in handcrafted wooden trays, you’ll find acrylic mahjong tiles – selected for the best playing experience – with signature Cathay Jade green detailing and unique aviation design notes such our brush wing.
