On China, People’s Republic of China commercial space industry gets off to a good start in 2025 At 18:11 on January 20, 2025, China successfully launched Yunyao-1 37 to 40 satellites using the Ceres-1 (Yao 16) carrier rocket at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. Inner Mongolia, China, People’s Republic of China..   The satellites entered the planned orbit smoothly and the launch mission was a complete success. The mission also carried and launched the Jitianxing A-05 satellite.

At 18:11 Beijing time on January 20, 2025, Galaxy Power Aerospace successfully launched Ceres-1 (Yao 16) carrier rocket (mission code: On Your Shoulders) at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, successfully sending 5 satellites, including Yunyao-1 37-40 and Jitianxing A-05, into a 535km sun-synchronous orbit.

The four satellites, Weibo Member Satellite (Yunyao-1 37), Kaiwu Constellation Jinding Test Satellite (Yunyao-1 38), Huaqing Haifeng Satellite (Yunyao-1 39), and Yunyao-1 40, have the same technical status and are all equipped with GNSS occultation payloads. The atmospheric temperature, humidity, pressure, and ionospheric electron density products can be obtained by inverting GNSS occultation data. They have broad application prospects and application value in meteorological observation, Kaiwu Interstellar Mine Network Demonstration Scenario Verification, and AIGE Future Mine Provides Comprehensive Data Support and Technical Services.

Jitianxing A-05 is equipped with a hyperspectral camera payload to obtain remote sensing images, which can be applied to ecological environment, industrial emissions, gas leaks, agricultural monitoring, mineral exploration, environmental monitoring, forest management, urban planning and other fields.

As of today, Ceres-1 has successfully completed 16 launches, sending 63 satellites into the predetermined orbit. It is the commercial launch vehicle with the most launches and the highest success rate in the private sector. The Ceres-1 (Yao 16) carrier rocket launched this time is the first carrier rocket manufactured and assembled by Galaxy Aerospace’s new generation solid aircraft research and development and production base in Ziyang, Sichuan. It is also the first “Sichuan-made” private commercial carrier rocket. At present, the base has completed the final assembly and testing of the subsequent three Ceres series rockets. This

mission also carried SPACE MOLLY 100%, an explorer of parallel universes designed by Galaxy Power and POP MART, a leading domestic trendy culture and entertainment brand. Through the deep integration of science and technology and art, the two parties demonstrated mankind’s awe of the universe and the courage and innovative spirit to explore the unknown world.

This launch was also strongly supported by functional film production supplier Aerospace Shanyou, Weibo members, and In Space Aerospace Technology Research Institute.

China successfully launched Gaofen-11 05 satellite into space using the Long March 4B carrier rocket at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. The satellite entered the planned orbit smoothly and the launch mission was a complete success. The satellite is mainly used in land surveys, urban planning, land rights confirmation, road network design, crop yield estimation and disaster prevention and mitigation, and can provide information support for the implementation of major national strategies such as the “Belt and Road” and the modernization of national defense.

The satellite was developed by the General Department of Remote Sensing Satellites of the Fifth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology. It is mainly used in land surveys, urban planning, land rights confirmation, road network design, crop yield estimation, and disaster prevention and mitigation. It can provide information support for the implementation of major national strategies such as the “Belt and Road” and the modernization of national defense.

The Long March 4B rocket has a 700kmSSO capacity of 2.5 tons. In order to meet the requirements of the satellite, this rocket uses a Φ4000mm von Karman fairing and a load reduction design to further improve the adaptability of the rocket. This mission is the first time in 15 months that the Long March 4 model has gone to the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center for a launch.

At 0649 Morning Hours Hong Kong SAR- Beijing Time5th July 2024 , China- People’s Republic of China- CNSA –China National Space Administration   Successfully launched  Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Yao 7 Carrier Rocket ignited and took off at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center Shanxi Province..  Successfully launch China successfully launched the Tianhui-5 satellite group 02

At 6:49 am on July 5, 2024, Beijing time, China successfully launched the Tianhui-5 satellite group 02 at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center using the Long March 6 modified carrier rocket. The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit and the launch mission was a complete success. The satellite mainly carries out tasks such as geographic information surveying and mapping, land and resources surveys, and scientific experimental research. The Tianhui-5 satellite group 02 and the Long March 6 modified rocket were both developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

This launch is the 527th launch…of the Long March series of carrier rockets

长征六号 Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Y7 Carrier Rocket optimized the final stage passivation process and improved the safety of the final stage in orbit. Compared with the previous mission, this mission has improved the test and launch plan and standardized various operations at the launch site, reducing the test and launch process in the launch area by 2 days and further shortening the launch cycle.

It is understood that for launch missions with orbital altitudes above 800 kilometers, starting the second-stage engine twice can significantly increase the carrying capacity. In order to meet the launch requirements of such satellites and enhance mission adaptability, the Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Y7 Carrier Rocket  began the development work related to the second-stage double start as early as 2018. “In the second half of this year, the Chang-liu modified rocket will conduct its first flight in a two-stage two-start state.” the Aerospace Science and Technology Group revealed to Long March.

Currently, the Changliu rocket is still carrying out demonstration work on the satellite fairing scheme with a diameter of 5.2 meters, which will provide a larger envelope space for the satellite and further improve mission adaptability. “In the future, the Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Y7 Carrier Rocket will also undertake more satellite launch missions to meet more satellite launch needs.” Xiang Changzheng said.
