The launch mission was a complete success…. Remote Sensing Satellite No. 43 Group 02 launched this time was developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
This launch is the 533rd launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets

Also it was  launch as a memorial launch for On the 79th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, China successfully launched the Remote Sensing Satellite No. 43 Group 02 at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center.

At 09:22 Beijing time on September 3, 2024, China successfully launched the Remote Sensing Satellite No. 43 Group 02 at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center using the Long March 4B carrier rocket. The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit and the launch mission was a complete success. The satellite is mainly used to carry out new technology experiments on low-orbit constellation systems.

This mission is the 533rd flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
This launch rocket uses a 4.2-meter diameter satellite fairing. As a mature product, this configuration fairing has been evaluated for multiple models and multiple flight missions. It has the advantages of larger envelope space and higher space utilization, and also has high maturity and high reliability; this mission innovatively adopts a multi-satellite side-mounted configuration, according to the universalization and modularization of electromechanical interfaces, which can meet the launch plans of different numbers of satellites and further improve the mission adaptability and flexibility. The Long March 4B carrier rocket used in this launch mission was developed by Shanghai Aerospace Corporation. It has the ability to launch satellites of various types and orbits. It can launch one satellite or multiple satellites per rocket. Its carrying capacity in the sun-synchronous orbit can reach 2.5 tons (orbital altitude 700km)

Successfully launched the Qianfan Polar Orbit 01 Group Satellite into space using the Chang Zheng -Long March 6 modified carrier rocket at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit near-polar orbit (800km×90°), and the launch mission was a complete success…….

The scene was so explosive! It is worthy of being the best-looking rocket in China! I finally checked in at all the domestic space launch sites

The Qianfan 01 group of satellites has realized the first batch of China’s flat-panel satellite mass production and the launch of 18 satellites in a single rocket] The first batch of 18 commercial networking satellites of the Qianfan constellation that were successfully launched this time are the first batch of the first generation of satellites (GEN1 satellites) of the Qianfan constellation. The Qianfan constellation will provide global users with satellite (broadband) Internet services with low latency, high speed and high reliability.

Long March 6 Yao 21 Carrier Rocket is the first flight of the double-start version of YF-115 This time Long March 6 Yao 21  Carrier Rocket carried out the Qianfan Polar Orbit 01 satellite launch mission, it has three significant features: First, the second-stage power system adopts double start for the first time status, further improving the rocket’s carrying capacity……

Secondly, this mission is the first commercial launch mission of the Long March 6A rocket. The model has accelerated its adaptation to the commercial launch mode and adopted the rolling batch production method of general products, which has greatly improved the commercial performance of the rocket.

Third, this mission is the first launch of 18 satellites in one rocket by the Long March 6A carrier rocket. In order to make more reasonable and effective use of the space inside the fairing, the satellites adopt a stacked layout. After the rocket enters orbit, it passes through at a certain angular speed. Rotation to achieve high-precision and high-reliability separation of multiple satellites.

“Qianfan Constellation” is one of the two major low-orbit satellite Internet constellation plans under construction in China. Shanghai Yuanxin Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. is the operator to lead the planning, construction, operation and other businesses. The long-term plan for the space segment of the “Qianfan Constellation” will deploy more than 15,000 satellites.

As one of the research and development parties of the “Qianfan Constellation”, the Shanghai Microsatellite Engineering Center is mainly responsible for the development of satellite systems, including the development of platform products and payloads, as well as the assembly, integration and testing of the entire satellite. The Qianfan Polar Orbit 01 group of satellites has realized the first batch of China’s flat-panel satellite mass production and the launch of 18 satellites in a single rocket.

At 6:49 am on July 5, 2024, Beijing time, China successfully launched the Tianhui-5 satellite group 02 at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center using the Long March 6 modified carrier rocket. The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit and the launch mission was a complete success. The satellite mainly carries out tasks such as geographic information surveying and mapping, land and resources surveys, and scientific experimental research. The Tianhui-5 satellite group 02 and the Long March 6 modified rocket were both developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

This launch is the 527th launch…of the Long March series of carrier rockets

长征六号 Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Y7 Carrier Rocket optimized the final stage passivation process and improved the safety of the final stage in orbit. Compared with the previous mission, this mission has improved the test and launch plan and standardized various operations at the launch site, reducing the test and launch process in the launch area by 2 days and further shortening the launch cycle.

It is understood that for launch missions with orbital altitudes above 800 kilometers, starting the second-stage engine twice can significantly increase the carrying capacity. In order to meet the launch requirements of such satellites and enhance mission adaptability, the Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Y7 Carrier Rocket  began the development work related to the second-stage double start as early as 2018. “In the second half of this year, the Chang-liu modified rocket will conduct its first flight in a two-stage two-start state.” the Aerospace Science and Technology Group revealed to Long March.

Currently, the Changliu rocket is still carrying out demonstration work on the satellite fairing scheme with a diameter of 5.2 meters, which will provide a larger envelope space for the satellite and further improve mission adaptability. “In the future, the Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Y7 Carrier Rocket will also undertake more satellite launch missions to meet more satellite launch needs.” Xiang Changzheng said.
