From October 10 to 11, Shan Zhongde, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Director of the National Space Administration, conducted safety inspections on the test run of the first-stage power system of the “Zhishenxing-1” carrier rocket and the semi-fixed test platform of the “Dongfang Spaceport-1” in Haiyang, Shandong. He also investigated relevant commercial aerospace companies and the launch mission of the “Gravity-1” Yao-2 carrier rocket, participated in the safety inspection expert group meeting and listened to relevant situation reports, and attended the Shandong Province Commercial Space Industry Innovation and Development Conference.
Shan Zhongde noted that General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to the development of emerging industries such as commercial space, emphasizing the need to gradually unleash their potential while ensuring safety. His important expositions and instructions on commercial space development have charted the course and provided fundamental guidance for this development. The National Space Administration has thoroughly studied and understood the important instructions and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping and resolutely implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council. It will coordinate the high-quality development and safety of commercial space, accelerating efforts to establish a scientific, standardized, safe, orderly, high-quality, and sustainable commercial space industry system and development framework.
