
On the 13th October 2025 Hours Hong- Kong SAR – Beijing time CNSA –China National Space Administration , China, People’s Republic of China At 1800 Hong Kong SAR- Beijing Time Beijing time on Long March 2D carrier rocket. The satellite smoothly entered its planned orbit, marking a complete success. The satellite is primarily used to demonstrate new optical imaging technology.

the Long March 2D Carrier rocket. In response to the new changes in this mission, the test team conducted a comprehensive review and confirmation of the launch site facilities, and formulated special plans for key factors such as meteorological conditions.
The Long March 2D rocket is a room-temperature two-stage liquid carrier rocket with the ability to launch single and multiple satellites with different orbital requirements. The 700-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit has a carrying capacity of 1.3 tons. Since its first flight on August 9, 1992, the “gold medal rocket” Long March 2D rocket has achieved “100% success”.


Both the satellite and the rocket were developed by the Eighth Academy of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The satellite is primarily used to demonstrate new optical imaging technology. This mission marks the 599th flight of the Long March carrier rocket series.
