At 10:00 Beijing time on September 9, 2025, China successfully launched the Remote Sensing Satellite No. 45 from the Wenchang Space Launch Center using the Long March 7 modified carrier rocket. The satellite successfully entered the planned orbit and the launch mission was a complete success. The satellite is mainly used in scientific experiments, land and resources surveys, agricultural product estimation, and disaster prevention and mitigation. This mission is the 594th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets




Long March 7A’s Medium-Orbit Lift Capacity Increased from 7 Tons to 8 Tons: Yaogan-45 marks the Long March 7A’s first medium-orbit launch mission. By strengthening the rocket’s core-stage tank structure and increasing the number of core-stage engine starts, the Long March 7A rocket’s medium-orbit payload capacity has been increased from 7 tons to over 8 tons, enhancing the rocket’s mission adaptability.
The Long March 7A launch preparation cycle has been shortened from 23 days to 19 days, further adapting to future high-density launch demands.

Earlier this morning, China’s Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center successfully launched the Geely Constellation 05 satellite using a Jielong-3 carrier rocket from the waters near Rizhao, Shandong Province. The satellite successfully entered its planned orbit, marking a complete success.
This mission marks the 594th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
