On the 13th May 2025 launch CNSA _China National Space Administration -China – People’s Republic of China 0209 Hours Hong Kong –Beijing Time China- People’s Republic of China…. at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, Sichuan Province of the Xichang Launch Center, the Long March 3C carrier rocket was launched, sending successfully launched the Communication Technology Experimental Satellite No. 19 from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center using the Long March 3C carrier rocket. This launch is the 100th space launches in the world in 2025, the 26th in China, the 2nd this month, the 14th for CALT, and the 1st for CZ-3C….
The satellite is mainly used to conduct multi-band, high-speed satellite communication technology verification….
The Long March 3C carrier rocket (CZ-3C) is a three-stage carrier rocket with two boosters. The first and second stages use N₂O₄/UDMH propellants, and the third stage uses LH/LOX propellants. The takeoff weight is 343 tons. The rocket is 54.8 meters long, the first and second stages have a diameter of 3.35 meters, the third stage has a diameter of 3.0 meters, the booster has a diameter of 2.25 meters, and the fairing has a diameter of 4.0 meters or 4.2 meters. The geosynchronous transfer orbit carrying capacity is 3,850 kilograms.
