On CNSA –China National Space Administration    …. ChangZheng  Long March 12 flight rocket …. At Hainan Commercial Space Launch Center. Wenchang, Hainan Province, China, People’s Republic of China At 0700 moring Beijing time…..   December 12th, 2025  the Long March 12 carrier rocket ignited and lifted off from the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site, successfully sending 16 satellites for the low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite internet system into their predetermined orbits. This launch was the fourth of its kind for the Long March 12 rocket and the 616th launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets. (China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation)

Successful Low Earth Orbit Satellite Launch Double 12 LongMarch12

[Long March 12 Rocket Successfully Launches 16 Low-Earth Orbit Satellites for Satellite Internet] At 7:00 AM on December 12, the Long March 12 carrier rocket ignited and lifted off from the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site, successfully sending 16 low-Earth orbit satellites for satellite internet into their predetermined orbits. The launch mission was a complete success.
The Long March 12 rocket was developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It adopts a “three-horizontal” launch mode of horizontal assembly, horizontal testing, and horizontal transportation. It can perform various orbital launch missions, with a low-Earth orbit payload capacity of no less than 12 tons and a 700 km sun-synchronous orbit payload capacity of no less than 6 tons. It can be adapted to satellite fairings with a diameter of 5.2 meters or 4.2 meters according to mission requirements.


This launch was the 616th launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets
