This flight test mission was a complete success. This mission was the second flight of the Gravity-1 carrier rocket.

At 10:20 a.m. on October 11th 2025 Beijing time , the Gravity-1 Yao-2 carrier rocket, developed by the commercial aerospace company Oriental Space (Shandong) Technology Co., Ltd., successfully lifted off from the waters near Haiyang, Shandong Province. It then successfully placed the Jilin-1 wide-band 02B07 satellite and the Shutianyuxing 01-02 test satellites into their planned orbits, making the launch mission a complete success.
The Gravity-1 rocket is the world’s largest solid-propellant carrier rocket in terms of takeoff thrust and is China’s first successful sea-launched strapped-on launch vehicle. Its seven high-thrust solid engines, each of four types, were developed by the Fourth Academy of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation . The Jilin-1 wide-band 02B07 satellite is a high – resolution, wide-band optical remote sensing satellite developed by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd.
