#iPhonePhotography |春天滿月- An Almost Spring #FullMoon- 5th September 2017- before a thunderstorm rainy week…

On a 5th September 2017- Tuesday on a soon to be in cloudy thunderstorm next day in Auckland New Zealand…. In which the on that night the moon was nearly almost a full moon with a Waxing Gibbous of ninety nine percent, in which on today it’s Wednesday cloudy with an early morning lightning –thunderstorm that thundered over the Manukau Harbour..

As it was clouding over, there were some interesting small pockets of windows of observations as seeing the one percent of the terminator that veiling the moon, in which most of the distinctive details are washing with the abundances of light, even though with the full moon there’s a slight terminator edging on the circumference of the moon…

The crowd that Tuesday night at the Auckland Observatory-Stardome got to see the nearly full moon along with Wintery Spring Planet still following the constellation Scorpio with a small opening in between the clouds… as to with the the Planet Jupiter in the bodice of the constellation Virgo falls earlier in the night.

As the clouds came blanketing through like in a Gothic silent movie scene, some through misty layers in creating an organic light filter to slightly reduced the light intensity without an aid of an actual moon filter, in which sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn’t… among with the filtered moonlight you could see the interesting details of the mares or larger seas..

The crowds came in with some first timers’ excitements in just in time later in with the last show before the clouds nomadically roam over briefly with the observations of the Moon along in with the Second largest gaseous Planet with iconic Cassini Rings…….

Among for the later in the night in between the light misty clouds… some distance back in time observations were with viewing   with the two Globular Clusters both averagely sixteen thousand Light years ago with Omega Centauri of the Southern cross also in the 47 Tucanne in the Constellation Tucanne…..  With the nearest Star system Alpha Centauri, a triple stars system with both stars almost the same equal mass with one smaller dwarf star hiding behind the other one…

During the months of early April Auckland, New Zealand, of between the late night heading to the early parts of the morning of fourth to the Fifth of April… The moon Luna blushed with red, as Earth cast its shadow onto the Moon…  as during the very late night entering into midnight you could see Earth’s shadow casting as seen in the Backyard of the ” Stardome- Auckland Observatory “.. also with the Edith Blackwell Winstone Telescope… . As it held the observation event also with online stream with the other stream observation from “Griffith Observatory” from Los Angeles in conjunction with “Slooh Observatory”

During that night onwards till early hours in the morning, with the crowds of Audiences from the Planetarium shows gathered around, also other’s whom just Drop by to view the never seen again event in that moment of time … the crowds assemble in viewing the event from weather wise surprising clear weather unlike the previous that had been cloudy in the past as the presenters directed of what they’ve seen in the Planetarium into the real night sky.. Then directed the crowds into view of the Telescopes operated by the wonderful volunteers whom braved the nightly morning cold..

LUNAR ECLIPSE| Auckland –Tuesday-15th April 2014

APIRL-143-2014-IPHONE 077
“the earth shadow past the moon- photographed taken through the clouds using a Meade LX-200 ten inch.. postcard freehand”-with a slighted blushing on the top.

That night of the Lunar eclipse that happen over in that one Auckland night, was interesting during the event.. The crowds amazing turned up despite the Auckland weather was saying sever overcast during the whole windy night.. At Auckland Observatory in which is Known as Stardome.  Looking at the back of the courtyard in which on a nice fine night there are assortments of armaments of telescopes looking out into the starry night sky, where this night looking out to One Tree Hill the numerous traffic of cars heading on to the summit to get to best views, to the apparentness that view didn’t suffice to the reckoning cloudy weather that clouded mostly sheering away the view of the climax of where the moon went to a blushing Luna Rosa..

Never before seen so many cars pilgrimage up to the summit….. Given that It was a fine night, it would able to taken some postcards of the event… But only where there were some random teasing openings… To seeing the moments after where the where blushed still sheered by the clouds…  there was some okay decent postcards photographs taken by mostly were the event you could see the  earth shadow have slightly slowed unrobed its shadow cast on the Luna Surface. Through the telescope..

At times during the times of event, noticing everyone in every Socials that I could think off, mostly northern hemisphere had some of the best views… And keep saying that “what!” word that the Doctor keep saying, and then looking at Auckland’s cloudy night sky… until the event ended later at 2200 hours in New Zealand  time..
