#iPhonePhotography | #LunarEclipse2018 #Supermoon #Auckland- Under an extremely blanketed clouded out Cyclone Fehi late night to early morning unstarry skies- A Gallery

On a in between almost midnight 31st January – Very weathering clouded extremely clouded out Auckland- New Zealand in bracing for an impending Cyclone Fehi that’s bound arrived in the later hours till midnight on the 31st January to 1st February 2018 in which the event of the Auckland Lunar Eclipse event of the Luna Rosa ended unobserved till four ending in the morning…  From the anticipated Supermoon that’s risen over the hills of One Tree looking towards north eastern direction that slight over right of the summit of one tree hill, in which a mass of crowds have gathered  at the back of Auckland Observatory- Stardome for the courtyard telescopes with a great team of volunteers whom operate them..  as the mass of crowds gather with their photographing camera equipment with their picnic blankets keeping warm throughout the night also the unexpected early hours morning …..

As the Supermoon rises from behind the hill embankments of One Tree Hill, in which the moon is closes towards the Planet earth in its elliptical orbit calling it Apogee, as the apogee moon rise from the horizon the image of the moon is magnified due to the heavy thick Atmospheric layering at the horizon in which increase the image of the moon, than from as it moves towards a higher angle of in the night sky in which it reduced magnification due to the thin atmosphere layer ….. As on the on the other side of hemisphere in Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Space Museum staging various events around Hong Kong one of many in nearby in Tsim Sha Tsui,  Kowloon Park, also Sha Tin also in Central on Hong Kong Island, with very great clear viewing  weather conditions than of Auckland..

the crowds awaits in the Cyclone Fehi Auckland cloudy night skies a the courtyard telescopes at the Auckland Observatory-Stardome

During that onwards towards midnight it the building up of cyclone Fehi clouds started to concentratingly to nomadically increase only to have slightly teasing selectively of viewing the moon as it transition from the earth shadows umbra starting the cast on the Luna Shadow slowly, as it was gate crashing the moments of looking transiting moon,  towards the Luna Rosa.. In which as it gathered upwards to that moment it wasn’t possible to watched as the rain decide to gate crash the event.. Nor to photograph even further… like packing your troubles in that  first  Yosemite night time campfire scene from Star Trek V- The Final Frontier where Captain Kirk, Doctor McCoy’s, Captain Spock camping trip was interrupted ….

LUNAR ECLIPSE| Auckland –Tuesday-15th April 2014

APIRL-143-2014-IPHONE 077
“the earth shadow past the moon- photographed taken through the clouds using a Meade LX-200 ten inch.. postcard freehand”-with a slighted blushing on the top.

That night of the Lunar eclipse that happen over in that one Auckland night, was interesting during the event.. The crowds amazing turned up despite the Auckland weather was saying sever overcast during the whole windy night.. At Auckland Observatory in which is Known as Stardome.  Looking at the back of the courtyard in which on a nice fine night there are assortments of armaments of telescopes looking out into the starry night sky, where this night looking out to One Tree Hill the numerous traffic of cars heading on to the summit to get to best views, to the apparentness that view didn’t suffice to the reckoning cloudy weather that clouded mostly sheering away the view of the climax of where the moon went to a blushing Luna Rosa..

Never before seen so many cars pilgrimage up to the summit….. Given that It was a fine night, it would able to taken some postcards of the event… But only where there were some random teasing openings… To seeing the moments after where the where blushed still sheered by the clouds…  there was some okay decent postcards photographs taken by mostly were the event you could see the  earth shadow have slightly slowed unrobed its shadow cast on the Luna Surface. Through the telescope..

At times during the times of event, noticing everyone in every Socials that I could think off, mostly northern hemisphere had some of the best views… And keep saying that “what!” word that the Doctor keep saying, and then looking at Auckland’s cloudy night sky… until the event ended later at 2200 hours in New Zealand  time..

2011 Lunar Eclipse- December 11th

You may wonder on the 11th  December 2011 that there was an Lunar eclipse, this one is when the Earth shadows the moon.  At this time watching the Lunar eclipse from the Stardome Observatory in Auckland started in the early hours of the morning of one O’clock then it settled for a blushing Luna Rosa roughly about 3:30 New Zealand time with daylight saving taking into account. It lasted up to an hour or two for the build up for the moon to be shrouded by the shadow of  Earth.

There was handsome handful of crowds of people whom waited ever so generously for the open windows of  the night sky  to open up, but only to be sheer up dressing by the ever so constant robbing of  clouds on  an opportunistic night.

That opportunistic night gave a slight unrevealing of the planet Jupiter, as the weather teased us. That teasing of the clouds gave a flirting whether that you going to see the moon blushing or concealing it from seeing it red. In some case that it did, and did get some photographs before it cloud over, with the Earth shadow nibbling at the whiteness of the surface of the moon.

At the most times I was helping everyone else getting good shots of using either photographic devices, of cameras and smart phones. In most case the smart phones of mostly used on that night was the iPhone 4 series including the iPhone 4s.  After having founding using the iPhone 4 series I found it reliable, and also it’s easy to run it having experience so many in different languages that it was prescribe to,  as in for the minority the Android phones was interesting there was so many camera applications to used, but the standard stock one proved to worthy holding it’s reputation to compete with it’s melee against the Apple iPhone 4 series.

By the time of  between 3:30 and four in the morning onwards New Zealand daylight savings time, the clouds, the weather flirted with us one more time before it long robe itself with clouds to finally to see any other glimpse of the moon blushing. But one last photo shoot of some one whom a Russian just only purchase her camera only days ago finally got the perfect photos that I consign to her the moon finally blushing in Luna Rosa, in orange red citrine in a glow.
