[ Long March 6A Rocket Successfully Launches Yaogan-50 02 Satellite ]
At 21:22 on March 15, the Long March 6A carrier rocket lifted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, successfully sending the Yaogan-50 02 satellite into its predetermined orbit. The launch mission was a complete success.
The Yaogan-50 02 satellite was developed by the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). This satellite will be mainly used for land surveys, crop yield estimation, and disaster prevention and mitigation.
The Long March 6A rocket was developed by the Eighth Academy of CASC.
This launch was the 633rd launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
The Yaogan-50 02 satellite was developed under the overall leadership of the Remote Sensing Satellite Department of the Fifth Academy. This satellite had high technical requirements, generating massive amounts of data in a single imaging session. The development team worked tirelessly to overcome bottlenecks in data transmission modes, developing a completely new digital algorithm for key components of the transmission channel. This effectively suppressed interference at various stages of the hardware link, solving the problem of high noise in the data transmission link, thus meeting the requirements for high timeliness and high reliability .
