Beijing Zhongke Aerospace Exploration Technology Co., Ltd. is the first domestic aerospace enterprise with mixed ownership, and it is also the target enterprise that Oriental Aerospace Port focuses on introducing. Relying on the scientific research strength and resource advantages of the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Aerospace Flight Technology Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Aerospace Science and Technology has been committed to the research and development and integration of space technology and aerospace vehicles as a platform for the transformation of major national scientific research projects, as well as the transformation and provision of technological achievements. Aerospace launch service. The Lijian-1 rocket project also adds a brand-new name card to the Oriental Space Port, which will surely promote the construction of the Oriental Space Port to take a solid step forward.

On the 29th April 2025 The full-load erection test of the Lijian-2 liquid carrier rocket was a complete success. The rocket landed accurately on the launch pad, indicating that the launch support system has successfully completed full-load commissioning and the relevant design indicators have been verified.

Recently, the full-load erection test of the Lijian-2 liquid carrier rocket of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation was a complete success. The rocket landed accurately on the launch pad, indicating that the launch support system has successfully completed the full-load debugging and the relevant design indicators have been verified.

As an indispensable part of the launch process of a carrier rocket, the launch support system is responsible for key tasks in the launch process, including rocket body transfer and transportation, rocket vertical lift and return to horizontal position, support for the entire rocket in a vertical state, connector recovery, and rapid backward reversal before launch. This test simulated the key processes from the technical plant to the launch pad, verified the key indicators from transportation, docking, erection and leveling, and provided effective data for the transfer, erection and leveling of the real rocket body.

Before the test, the launch support design team completed the factory testing and on-site assembly and commissioning of the launch equipment structure, hydraulics, electronic control systems, as well as support transport vehicles, air conditioners and other related equipment, and strictly controlled product quality in accordance with relevant technical requirements, acceptance rules and test outlines.

During the test, the entire process of full-load transportation, docking, erection and leveling was simulated and verified. The full-load transport test mainly completed the full-load sports car test of the erection frame and the rocket body assembly, achieved safe transportation under large tonnage and large size conditions, verified the parameters such as passability, overload, and driving speed during the entire arrow transportation process, and the interface between the erection frame and the transport vehicle met the design indicators, effectively ensuring the safety and reliability of the entire arrow transfer transportation. The full-load docking test mainly completed the docking test of the erection frame and rocket body assembly with the launch pad, verified the attitude adjustment capability of the equipment on the support transport vehicle, achieved the rapid docking of the entire rocket, the erection frame assembly with the launch pad, and shortened the launch process time. The erection and leveling tests verified that the arrow erection accuracy, landing accuracy, the interface between the arrow body and the erection frame and launch platform, the rapid rewind time before launch, and overload met the design indicators, ensuring the safety and reliability of the launch process.

It is worth mentioning that the Lijian-2 launch device is also equipped with a dedicated cargo elevator to meet the future market’s needs for aircraft cargo loading, deep space exploration, and cargo transportation to the Chinese space station.

This test verified the matching of interfaces among the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems of the launch equipment and the reliability of the control system, and verified the matching of interfaces between the launch equipment and the support transport vehicle and rocket body. The successful completion of this test indicates that the launch support system field equipment has met the conditions for technical status confirmation. Subsequently, the launch support design team of the Lijian-2 will complete full-process tests and failure mode tests according to the model plan to lay a solid ground support foundation for the maiden flight mission.
