On the 26TH March 2025 launch CNSA _China National Space Administration -China – People’s Republic of China 2355 Hours Hong Kong –Beijing Time China- People’s Republic of China…. at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, Sichuan Province of the Xichang Launch Center, the Long March 3B carrier rocket was launched, sending successfully launched Communication Technology Tianlian-2-04 into space using Long March 3B carrier rocket at Xichang Satellite Launch Center. The satellite successfully entered the planned orbit and the launch mission was a complete success.
Tianlian-2-04 was developed by the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It is China’s second-generation geosynchronous orbit relay satellite. It is mainly used to provide data relay and measurement and control services for manned spacecraft such as spacecraft and space stations, and to provide data relay and measurement and control services for medium and low orbit resource satellites. It provides measurement and control support for spacecraft launches and is called “satellite of satellites.”
The Long March 3B carrier rocket was developed by the First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It is currently the single-model carrier rocket with the most launches in China. It belongs to the “gold medal rocket” Long March 3A series. It has very high reliability and mission adaptability, and can meet the launch needs of most high-orbit spacecraft in China.
This launch is the 565th launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
