On the day of 17th January 2025   Hours Hong- Kong SAR – Beijing time CNSA –China National Space Administration , China, People’s Republic of China At 1207 Hong Kong SAR- Beijing Time  , the Chang Zheng -Long March 2D Yao 101   China successfully launched the rocket ignited and took off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, and then accurately sent Pakistan’s PRSC-EO1 satellite, Tianlu-1 satellite, and Blue Carbon-1 satellite into the predetermined orbit in a “three satellites in one rocket” manner, and the launch mission was a complete success.

China, People’s Republic of China successfully launched Pakistan’s PRSC-EO1 satellite using the Long March 2D carrier rocket at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit and the launch mission was a complete success. The mission also carried and launched the Tianlu-1 satellite and the Blue Carbon-1 satellite.

Among them, the Blue Carbon-1 satellite is the first ocean satellite in Zhejiang Province, and Time and Space Daoyu Technology participated in the satellite research and development, design and production. The satellite is under the overall responsibility of Hangzhou Dianzi University , and the Second Institute of Oceanography of the Ministry of Natural Resources (Ocean Institute 2) has demonstrated key parameters. The payload is developed by University of Science and Technology of China Hangzhou Institute of Advanced Studies , and Time and Space Daoyu Technology is responsible for the satellite platform. The satellite was completely planned, designed, manufactured and applied by Zhejiang Province from the top level, and is an important infrastructure for marine scientific research and environmental monitoring.

As an ocean satellite completely “made in Zhejiang”, “Blue Carbon No. 1” was specially developed for ocean remote sensing monitoring. It has technical advantages such as long-term autonomous operation, high load-to-weight ratio, and strong platform versatility, providing “new quality” support for Zhejiang Province’s ecological environment protection and marine resource management.

Geely Satellite Super Factory fully participated in the manufacturing task, demonstrating its ability to “build satellites like cars.” The factory has an annual production capacity of 500 satellites and produces 1-2 satellites per day, reducing satellite manufacturing costs by about 45%, setting a new benchmark for the large-scale development of the commercial aerospace industry…

🔷The Long March 2D carrier rocket that carried out this mission is a normal temperature liquid two-stage carrier rocket developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It has the characteristics of “high reliability, good economy and strong adaptability” and can support various forms of launch requirements such as single satellite, multi-satellite parallel, series and piggyback. Its sun-synchronous circular orbit carrying capacity can reach 1.3 tons (orbital altitude 700km).
🔷This mission is equipped with a first-stage landing area control system. During the re-entry phase of the first stage of the rocket, the first stage is guided in flight through the precise control of the grid rudder surface, further narrowing the landing area and ensuring the safety of the landing area.
🔷This launch is the 95th launch of the Long March 2D carrier rocket, the 228th launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets developed by the Eighth Academy, and the 556th launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
