On that  weekend Sunday – 21st May 2017 In Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong-  Cathy Pacific  did something special for the communities of Hong Kong in which provided one hundred Hong Kong Children among with their families to fly for the very first time… as First time flyers with special passports issued to celebrate the event of flying over Hong Kong over a ninety minute flight …in which opening the ceremony of the flight is Mr Paul Chan the Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong –SAR also Cathay Pacific Chief Executive Officer Rupert Hogg to greet the 230 passengers onboard the special flight of CX- 8795

The ninety minute flight CX-8795, a Boeing 777-300 aircraft among with more than sixty Cathy Pacific Volunteers, that including the Cockpit, cabin crew whom was there as Cathy Pacific Flight Ambassadors in provisions of assistances of sharing their experiences in the Aviation industry and the passion in aviation flight to the onboard families..

Also this is milestone for one its Cathay Pacific Senior Captain’s, Captain Hank Cheng whom completed a milestone of around the world in his home built aircraft… in which during the preparation for the flight is that Inspirations in which inspiring those children also their families also the whom on board was sending the message on the twentieth Anniversary celebration of Hong Kong as a Special Administrative region on which inspiring strength through togetherness, progressiveness, also opportunities also creating nurturing,  mentoringship,  for the children onboard in which to overcome various strive for various challenges in their lives and the countless journeys  of how they overcome it progressively in following their dreams to goals … in which those was onboard was selected onboard through a writing competition that was done through Hong Kong Council of Social Services..  

The flight was made possible through the support extended by various government departments and other organisations, including the Transport and Housing Bureau, the Home Affairs Bureau, the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department, Airport Authority Hong Kong, the Immigration Department, Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department, the Hong Kong Police Force and Aviation Security Company Limited.

#AIRBUS #A350XWB | #AsianaAirlines – it’s first in the making – #A350-900

As Airliners set to replace their older aircraft fleets for more fuel, environmental efficiency Aircraft in which can cover more range also with decrease in travelling time  efficiency…. South Korean- Asiana Airlines has been doing the same with like Cathy Pacific in fleet replacement… Asiana Airlines is Airbus twelfth A350XWB-900 series customer….. In which on 24th April 2017, have taken its delivery from Airbus Toulouse France Assembly plant… This is the First Asiana Airlines taken delivery with it’s first A350-900 following with another thirty orders…

As all the components arrive at the Toulouse France Assembly plant, assembly takes place with the fuselage then the wings, its rudder, with the fins takes shape of an aircraft once assemble it’s taken to the paint shop for livery to be painted on, layered with a strong primer coat, then the aircraft is tested   with the interior cabin installments before it sets out for its formal delivery …

#BOEING #B737MAX | Chilling out for certification for Flight testing in the Siberian winters..

 

As part of the testing processes for certification of a new aircraft also to test to see if any given any changes that needed to modify before it’s certified for the aircraft production and ordering for any new clients..  One method is for Boeing also Airbus uses is call the cold testing… Taking the Boeing 737Max Aircraft into unfamiliar environments, in where this case one of the most coldest regions on Earth, winter bounded Russia in where a cup of hot water when thrown in mid-air automatically turns to snow, in which is so cold that your hair, will freeze on an instant faster than instant noodles..

As the testing team, was testing the aircraft in those beyond minus forty degrees Celsius, mostly everything of any liquids was removed, also the aircraft Boeing 737Max is powered down for the night over the till the Siberian morning came in till they have to resupply the B737Max systems thermally warm supplied fuel into its tanks from the heater Trucks , also any liquid based systems quickly, also this gave to chance to modified any quality assurances systems that may check off previously, once refueled, resupplied it was ready to fly into its next certification programme to assure customers reassurances that the Aircraft is built for to survive  this type of harsh environments that’s under taking..

#AIRBUS #A321NEO | the certification of the CFM International’s LEAP 1A Engine…

 

As part of the new “Airbus 321 Neo” small passenger Aircraft certification process with new engine optional engines types that take place during the ninth February 2016 at Hamburg of its first flight, its recent certification process is the new optional CFM International’s LEAP-1A engines… In which the standard engines for the Airbus 321 Neo is Pratt and Whitney – PW1100G-JM engines in which as been certified among with the aircraft…… As with the new engine installation it’s still required for the engines to be test with the Aircraft to simulate the required environmental conditions to check its compatibilities in regarding how it’ll perform in real world situations in with the comprehensive series of safety and performances testing in a joint collaboration with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).  It was Extreme conditions climatic tested in Florida on May 2016, at -65 degrees Fahrenheit – -54 Degrees Celsius, then it was tested for Velocity for Minimum Control on ground at Toulouse of that same month as well joining it sister in July the A320Neo with the same engine type in getting certified with more than four hundred hours of flight time..
