As of 26 August 2020, The CNSA –China National Space Administration Belt and Road Initiative Lunar Mission on the One Hundred Kilometre diameter Von Karman Crater    Chang’e 4 lander and the “Yutu 2” lunar rover the Chang’e-4 lander and the “Yutu-2” lunar rover have completed 21-month scientific exploration on the back of the moon. They broke through 600 days on August 25 and the rover travelled 519.29 meters. The scientific research team uses the data returned by the scientific payload to carry out a large number of studies and obtain many scientific results.

  1. Research on the morphology and mineral composition of the inspection area on the back of the moon. Using the visible and near-infrared spectrometer, panoramic camera and lunar radar data carried by the “Yutu-2” lunar rover, analyse the spectrum, rock distribution, and shallow structure of the landing area to obtain the morphology of the landing area and the composition of the material and minerals. , Source and characteristics of scientific conclusions. It is the first time to directly obtain the composition of the deep lunar material through in-situ exploration, revealing the complex impact history of the back of the moon, especially the Aitken Basin in Antarctica, providing key evidence for the formation and evolution of the lunar soil, and selecting sites for future Antarctic landings and inspections. Provide important reference.

  1. Research on the superficial structure of the moon’s surface in the inspection area on the back of the moon. Based on the lunar measuring radar and camera data of the Chang’e-4 lander and other multi-source data, research and establish the relationship between the formation profile of the Chang’e-4 landing area and the multi-phase sputter coverage. The accumulated thickness of the sputters in the landing area is about 70 meters, and the surface is the spatter of the Finsen impact crater; within the depth of the inspection area of 40 meters, there are 3 different stratigraphic units, including the fine-grained lunar soil layer within 12 meters, 12 24 meters of gravel layer and 24 meters to 40 meters of sputter deposition and weathering product layer. These results reveal for the first time the mystery of the underground structure on the back of the moon, greatly improving our understanding of the history of lunar impact and volcanic activity, and bringing new enlightenment to the study of geological evolution on the back of the moon.

  1. Lunar surface neutron and radiation dose, neutral atom research. Using the detection data of the Lunar Surface Neutron and Radiation Dose Detector and the Neutral Atom Detector of the Chang’e-4 lander, the environmental spectrum of high-energy particles on the lunar surface, the energy spectrum structure and albedo of the neutral atom on the lunar surface are obtained. The neutron radiation dose rate on the moon surface is 1-2 times higher than that inside the space station, and the radiation dose equivalent is about 1 times higher. It is confirmed that the primary galactic cosmic rays hit the surface of the moon, producing albedo protons (first discovered on the US Lunar Orbiter, this time it was verified on the moon surface). These results provide important support for conducting research on the microscopic interaction between the solar wind and the lunar surface, promote the understanding of lunar surface radiation risks, and provide an important reference for future lunar astronauts’ lunar surface radiation hazards estimation and radiation protection design.

  1. Moon-based low-frequency radio astronomy observation and research. Using the low-frequency radio spectrometer on the Chang’e-4 lander platform, the first successful low-frequency radio astronomical observation on the back of the moon was carried out, and a large amount of effective observation data was obtained. The preliminary acquisition of the electromagnetic environment background frequency spectrum and low-frequency radio three-component time-varying waveform data of the lunar landing zone below the frequency of 40MHz has important scientific significance for the study of solar low-frequency radio characteristics and the low-frequency radio environment of the moon surface.

#iPhonePhotography | 萬聖節月亮 – The 31 October 2017 #Halloween Moon – A Gallery

It was a on at night with the Halloween Phantom of the Opera Moon on the 31st October 2017 in Auckland-New Zealand in which during that that day night it was clear remarkable in which latterly the cloudy started to gate crashed from the north..  During that same day it was the eve of Halloween in east coast where Space X had currently launched the South Korean television telecommunications Satellite KoreaSat5A.. on the following day over in the west coast at California is the multiple payload launch of the SkySat also Dove Satellites in one single launch by OrbitalATK in which both launches met its launch criteria besides waiting patience for the weather..

Meanwhile on that same Halloween day, Southern Hemisphere wise at the Auckland Observatory-Stardome were running with Halloween theme night. With props of Tombstones suspended ghouls with decorative running spiders, flying bats, in which running in sessions of three Halloween thematic planetarium shows each come with Halloween loot treat swag…

Before the gate-crashing blanketing rain clouds that came rolling over from north as it ghost storyline the waxing gibbous Phantom of the opera moon in creating that Halloween look for the moon in view as the storyline the Jade Rabbit eye.. In which you can see the promenade features of the sea of the Apollo 11 landed sea of Tranquility also Apollo 17 landed  Serenity… among that the moon was moving away from the constellation Scorpio in which rising later as she headed towards the full moon- second quarter then onwards wanningly towards the New Moon..

If you’re wondering about tonight on the eighth of September 2017 at Auckland Observatory-Stardome,  they’re screen one of the iconic episode sequels from Star Trek The Original Series – “Space Seeds” that was prequel foretold in the storyline of the crew of NX-01 Enterprise as there was Argument Humans-Superhuman that ruled half of Earth over a short period of time in the late 20th  to the early 21st  century then the remaining  crew with its leader Khan Noonien Singh forcefully exile on a sleeper sub-light ship the Botany Bay..  Until then they were discovered by the crew of nearly 40 year old Constitution class USS Enterprise under Captain Kirk the story goes from there until Khan and his crew was again exile at Ceti Alpha four.. In from after that you’ll have to find out in which screening tonight at Stardome-Auckland Observatory at eight New Zealand time for the … “ Star Trek-Wrath of Khan” ….

As of yesterday one the 7th September 2017 Auckland –New Zealand, last night it was a great night as it was the full moon in which there was a modest moderate of crowds for the night in viewing the full moon, in which brighten up the night sky… in which you can see along the other side which the terminator has slightly came back along the side where the Jade Rabbit is… is slowly progressively veiling towards the new moon in which as it tends toward the new moon the moon rises later in the evening ….. Orthough it was great night in viewing the full moon, in which you can still make out the constellations and clusters in the night sky after an earlier much clearer night sky after it rained out the smog pollutants in the air… As for the moon orthough it was full, the features of the moon were washout, but you can see some shadowy indention craters…

#iPhonePhotography |春天滿月- An Almost Spring #FullMoon- 5th September 2017- before a thunderstorm rainy week…

On a 5th September 2017- Tuesday on a soon to be in cloudy thunderstorm next day in Auckland New Zealand…. In which the on that night the moon was nearly almost a full moon with a Waxing Gibbous of ninety nine percent, in which on today it’s Wednesday cloudy with an early morning lightning –thunderstorm that thundered over the Manukau Harbour..

As it was clouding over, there were some interesting small pockets of windows of observations as seeing the one percent of the terminator that veiling the moon, in which most of the distinctive details are washing with the abundances of light, even though with the full moon there’s a slight terminator edging on the circumference of the moon…

The crowd that Tuesday night at the Auckland Observatory-Stardome got to see the nearly full moon along with Wintery Spring Planet still following the constellation Scorpio with a small opening in between the clouds… as to with the the Planet Jupiter in the bodice of the constellation Virgo falls earlier in the night.

As the clouds came blanketing through like in a Gothic silent movie scene, some through misty layers in creating an organic light filter to slightly reduced the light intensity without an aid of an actual moon filter, in which sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn’t… among with the filtered moonlight you could see the interesting details of the mares or larger seas..
