1. Rocket Characteristics and Technological Level
- The Long March 12, developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, is China’s first 4-meter-class single-core stage cryogenic liquid propellant launch vehicle.@Dahe Daily
- Key parameters : The rocket is approximately 62 meters long, has a takeoff mass of approximately 430 tons, a takeoff thrust of 5,000 kN, a payload capacity of no less than 6 tons to a 700 km sun-synchronous orbit, and a payload capacity of no less than 12 tons to a low Earth orbit.@China Aerospace Culture
- Flexible adaptation : 4.2-meter and 5.2-meter diameter fairings can be selected according to the mission to support single-satellite and multi-satellite launch requirements in different orbit

2. Launch Site and Commercialization Progress
- New launch site capability verification : This mission was carried out by the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site, with China Commercial Rocket Company providing launch services as the general contractor, verifying the commercial operation model.@Kaldarwalich
- High-density launch support : Hainan Commercial Launch has already achieved routine dual-position launch capability. - Industrial driving effect : From September 15 to 17, China’s commercial space program achieved “four consecutive victories in three days”, with four types of rockets, namely Kuaizhou-11, Long March-12, Zhuque-2 improved version and Gravity-1, being launched in quick succession.
