Today the 16th September 2026 , the Gravity-1 Y3 carrier rocket successfully launched, sending 9 satellites into their predetermined orbits. The flight test mission was a complete success. This mission is also the world’s first time a solid-propellant carrier rocket has launched stacked satellites. Previously, when there were many satellites, they were often hung on a support cylinder. Gravity-1, however, stacks the satellites like a “human pyramid,” improving the utilization of the fairing’s internal space and the effective payload ratio.
