The Long March 8A Yao 8 Rocket is a significant improved version of the Long March 8 series rockets. It successfully completed its maiden flight on February 11, 2025. Its payload capacity to a 700-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit has been increased to 7 tons. Designed for high-density, rapid network deployment, it is a core launch vehicle for China’s satellite internet constellation construction.
