On CNSA –China National Space Administration    …. ChangZheng  Long March 12 flight rocket …. At Hainan Commercial Space Launch Center. Wenchang, Hainan Province, China, People’s Republic of China …. At 15:48 on January 19, 2026, the Long March 12 Y5 carrier rocket was launched from the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site, successfully sending 19 satellites for the satellite internet network into their predetermined orbits. The launch mission was a complete success. This launch was the 628th launch of the Long March series carrier rockets.

With the continued launches of satellite internet network satellites in low orbit, the “Ten Thousand Rockets Launching Simultaneously” badge set designed and produced by Shanghai AIS Aerospace Technology is about to reach its final stage.

Today, China successfully launched 19 low-Earth orbit satellites for satellite internet into their predetermined orbits using a Long March-12 carrier rocket from the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site. The launch mission was a complete success. 2026🇨🇳/Global Space Launch #7/16: 01-19 15:48, HICAL LCC-2, CZ-12 Y5, StarNet 50° LEO Group 11 (9 satellites), successfully launched.✅

To date, China’s StarNet low-Earth orbit constellation has launched a total of 19 groups with 154 satellites: 8 groups with 55 satellites in 86.5° near-polar orbit and 11 groups with 99 satellites in 50° low-Earth orbit.

🛰StarNet’s 19th low-Earth orbit satellite group is the second group of this type of satellite developed by GalaxySpace. According to Chief Designer Hu Zhao, this group of satellites carries several core technology products independently developed by GalaxySpace, including phased array, millimeter-wave antenna, integrated electronics, and energy, all aimed at lower costs and industry-leading technology. The development process achieved full digital integration for the first time, with automated testing, intelligent assembly and inspection, and launch site process optimization tailored to the characteristics of mass production, significantly improving efficiency.

🚀During this mission, the Long March 12 rocket continued to optimize its carrying capacity, improving the length of its onboard cable network, kerosene filling pipelines, and the structure and sections of the transition chamber. This resulted in a 10% weight reduction while maintaining performance and strength, and simplified assembly operations, effectively enhancing the rocket’s adaptability to launch missions. Furthermore, to further improve launch efficiency, the project continuously optimized pre-launch workflows and personnel deployment, and reduced the number of launch site inspections and tests, shortening the launch cycle by four days and laying a solid foundation for subsequent high-density launch mission
