At 12:12 PM Beijing time on December 30, 2025, China successfully launched the Tianhui-7 satellite into its predetermined orbit using a Long March-4B carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The launch mission was a complete success. The satellite will primarily be used for geographic information mapping, land resource surveys, and scientific research.

The Tianhui-7 satellite was developed by the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) and will be mainly used for geographic information mapping, land resource surveys, and scientific research.
The Long March 4B rocket is a room-temperature liquid three-stage carrier rocket developed by the Eighth Academy of CASC. This mission was the final launch of the Long March 4 series carrier rockets for the year, with all seven launches throughout the year being successful.
This launch was the 622nd launch of the Long March series carrier rockets.
