19 successes! The Galaxy Power Ceres-1 Sea Launch (Yao-5) once again broke the record for domestic private rocket launches
Ceres-1 successfully launched four satellites in one rocket
At 15:38 Beijing time on May 19, 2025, under the organization and command of the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center’s sea launch team, Galaxy Dynamics Aerospace Company successfully completed the launch mission of Ceres-1 Sea Launch (Yao 5) (mission code: Huaixu Feitang) in the waters near Shandong, and successfully carried the 34th to 37th satellites of the first phase of the “Apocalypse Constellation”, a total of four satellites, into a low-Earth orbit with an altitude of 850km and an inclination of 45°. This mission is the 19th successful launch of Galaxy Aerospace and the sixth time that the Ceres series of rockets have launched a networking satellite for the “Apocalypse Constellation”. The success of this launch mission marks the full completion of the global networking of the first phase of the “Apocalypse Constellation”, and opens a historic moment in the era of the Internet of Everything.

The “Apocalypse Constellation” is my country’s first low-orbit IoT communication constellation. The first phase consists of 37 satellites and the networking has been completed. The constellation has the characteristics of global coverage, miniaturization, low power consumption and low cost. It provides global users with “air, space, land and sea” consumer-grade satellite IoT data services. It has been widely used in forestry, agriculture, emergency, tourism, water conservancy, electricity, petroleum, ocean, ecological environment, smart cities and other industries and digital economy scenarios, and is moving towards the direct-connected satellite market for consumer electronic products such as automobiles, walkie-talkies and watches.
As the only private rocket type that can take into account both land and sea launch platforms, the Ceres-1 series of launch vehicles has achieved flexible regional and orbital adaptability and high-density launch capabilities, and can quickly meet the launch needs of different satellite users to the greatest extent. Since its first flight on September 5, 2023, the Ceres-1 sea-launched version has completed five sea launch missions with 100% success.
To date, Starlink Aerospace Corporation has successfully carried out 19 commercial launches and deliveries, accurately sending a total of 81 commercial satellites with different functions into predetermined orbits.
