It’s a showpiece that helps you feel connected while ensuring your safety. Enjoy the video and safe travels! Cathay Pacific Airways reveals its new inflight safety video that takes customers through important inflight safety procedures set against the dynamic backdrop of Hong Kong….

Told through the electrifying energy and vibrancy of the airline’s home city, the video was developed in close collaboration with the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and the Civil Aviation Department (CAD) to embody all necessary safety protocols while educating customers in an informative and engaging way.

The safety demonstrations in the video are interwoven with the unique charms of Hong Kong, capturing the city’s iconic landmarks, bustling happenings, world-class arts and cultural attractions, natural landscapes and more.

Scenes were shot at various locations across the city to showcase the best of Hong Kong. Customers are transported to a dai pai dong, the quintessential local dining experience, for the “no smoking” announcement, before finding themselves amidst an exhilarating dragon boat race which provides the backdrop for the life jacket demonstration, while Shek O Beach sets the scene for the emergency and pre-takeoff procedures. Other locales include the shopping paradise of Causeway Bay, Xiqu Centre at the West Kowloon Cultural District, the iconic Peak Tram, Yau Ma Tei’s historic Tin Hau Temple and the serene Clearwater Bay Country Park, all of which culminate in a visually immersive experience for customers.

Replacing the current inflight safety video introduced over seven years ago, the new version will be progressively rolled out across Cathay Pacific flights from 1 August 2024 onwards.

短片中的安全示範與呈現香港獨特魅力的片段交織串連，捕捉香港的著名地標、繁華盛事、世界級的藝文景點及自然景觀等。

攝製團隊於全港多個地點進行拍攝，務求展現出香港別具一格的獨特風貌。顧客先置身於富有香港地道飲食特色的大牌檔中聆聽禁煙指引；然後在緊湊的龍舟競賽中觀看穿着救生衣示範；而石澳沙灘更化作緊急事故及起飛前安全示範的場景。其他景點包括銅鑼灣購物天堂、西九文化區的戲曲中心、首屈一指的觀光熱點山頂纜車、位於油麻地歷史悠久的天后廟，以及寧謐恬靜的清水灣郊野公園，為顧客帶來身臨其境的視覺體驗。

全新飛行安全示範短片將於 2024 年 8 月 1 日起於國泰航空的航班上陸續推出，取代七年前推出的現行版本。

Although concept is quite similar to SQ- Singapore Airlines but very International Iconic it features many numerous Hong Kong SAR’s Cultural Elements  from ancient to modern future of Chinese intangible Cultural Heritage.   – I think it’s great to showcase some of the amazing things about Hong Kong SAR, China, and People’s Republic of China. What I like especially is the backdrop of Hong Kong SAR is there, yet the director makes sure to zoom in and hone in on the safety details like the life vest and oxygen mask- it’s not just a safety video glossing over the safety aspects. Meet James Ng, aviation enthusiast and collector of all things Cathay Pacific. Amongst his collection of more than 30,000 aviation artifacts and memorabilia, the “Tung Hoi” bowling bag has remained his favourite since the 80s. James also walked us through some stories of his collectibles and shares how he will make the most of the future with Cathay.

The filtered air does not flow between passengers it flows from ceiling to the cabin floor before exhausting our from the cabin….

Before your flight and between every single flight we thoroughly clean the entire cabin making sure to wipe and disinfect your seat and everything around it like your armrest, seatbelt, tray table  , overhead compartment , monitor as well common areas paying special attention to the lavatories and door handles… we use one of the world’s strongest disinfectants – NetbioKem DSAM.. to ensure the Cabin is completely sanitised ….. And we change every single headset, head rest cover pillow cover, bed sheet and blanket so you can be sure of getting a new clean set when you board … We will offer blocked seats, whenever possible .. You can rest assured that everyone onboard has had their Temperature’s and health history checked… And we required all passengers and crew to wear a face covering throughout the flight ……

Your will also receive a Cathay Care kit which contain useful essentials like an extra face covering and antiseptic wipes and you’ll find hand sanitisers in all our cabin wash rooms so you can easily keep your hand clean..  We have made a few temporary adjustments to our meal service across all classes as guided by our aviation medical team to make sure we prioritise your wellbeing as always  while making sure we offer a meal you’ll enjoy….. Outbound Crew ……. Taking Care of our cabin crew is and will remain very important to us… before reporting for duty we check the temperatures of every member of the team and require a detailed health declaration …….  an d while onboard, we equip every member of the team with the protective gear they need.. We’ve introduced stricter rules to make sure our cabin crew minimises contact with the local community during their layover, as much as possible..

On 28th November 2018, from the Airbus Aircraft delivery center in France Toulouse, in which celebrated China Eastern’s first Airbus 350XWB-900’s out from twenty sisters that yet to come.. in which becoming the latest operator, in another is Cathay Pacific is one of the earliest operators.. in which China Eastern is the second largest Asia carrier on the planet Earth..

The Shanghai based carrier, operates a full Airbus complement fleet of 365 airliners, that’s including 306 Airbus 320’s also with fifty Airbus 330’s series… in which the new inspiring features that China  Eastern’s new fleet of A350-900’s series, comes in with a new comfortable modern four class cabin layout format of two hundred and eighty eight seating.. The first four is first class, the 36 business seats, thirty two premium economy then towards 216 economy seating…  In which the Airbus 350XWB series also it variants can outperform the Boeing equivalent fleet series…

The Airbus 350XWB series is one of the most successful medium large wide body long range aircrafts, it’s the next generation of long haul of being a long range leader in which is translated into carbon fibre body fuselage, wings, among its fuel efficient  A350 Trent Roll Royce engines among those innovations it’s cabin interior Airspace by Airbus offering the next generation level of inflight comfort also inflight entertainment in which is catered with internet interconnectivity in which allows you to work along the long haul flights so you won’t waste time also keeping up with your family  on various socials platforms…

On during the week of 22nd of September 2018 Singapore Airlines- Singapore’s flagship Carrier.. Has reveal, receiving its first ULR- Ultra Long Range Airbus 350XWB- 900 series Airliner in which it flies further than the Traditional A350XWB series also it’s Boeing Counterpart….  In the first day of its delivery its was due to start  operationally with its new flight routed in between  the center of operational flight from Singapore to New York , Los Angeles also San Francisco nonstop on 11th October 2018…

Having receiving its first delivery flying from Airbus Delivery center in Toulouse towards Singapore.. The New A350-900ULR will expectantly have a duration flight of least eighteen hours and forty five minutes from Singapore towards New York and vice versa..  Having its first delivery it’s the first out of seven ULR- Ultra Long Range…
