But we’ve put a few safety measures in place.. And, as an added protection, our check in counters Kiosks and other common areas have an antimicrobial coating that provides as an invisible barrier against any possible viruses and bacteria …… No matter how you choose to check in you will need to answer a few health –screening questions and have your temperature checked before entering the airport….. If you’re waiting for your flight in our lounges we’ve put in place extra precautions like more hand sanitizers in more common areas, temperature checks, mandatory face coverings and we’ve also remove all newspapers and reading materials…… We’re temporarily offering single serve individually packed dishes ….. And yes, we’re still serving hot meals which we’ll freshly cook right after you’ve placed your order …. Boarding   We’re also changing the way we invite you to board, so you can get to your seat as quickly as easily as possible…. Please remember to keep a safe distance from other passengers as your make your way to your seat ….

In the Cabin The Air conditioning System in every one of our aircraft is equipped with HEPA filters which have a similar performance to those used in hospitals operating rooms , The Cabin Air refreshes every two to three minutes , Together with a Triple defence barrier the Air condition system can filter up to 99.99 percent of airborne particles the movement of air also plays an important role. The filtered air does not flow between passengers it flows from ceiling to the cabin floor before exhausting our from the cabin….

Before your flight and between every single flight we thoroughly clean the entire cabin making sure to wipe and disinfect your seat and everything around it like your armrest, seatbelt, tray table  , overhead compartment , monitor as well common areas paying special attention to the lavatories and door handles… we use one of the world’s strongest disinfectants – NetbioKem DSAM.. to ensure the Cabin is completely sanitised ….. And we change every single headset, head rest cover pillow cover, bed sheet and blanket so you can be sure of getting a new clean set when you board … We will offer blocked seats, whenever possible .. You can rest assured that everyone onboard has had their Temperature’s and health history checked… And we required all passengers and crew to wear a face covering throughout the flight ……

Your will also receive a Cathay Care kit which contain useful essentials like an extra face covering and antiseptic wipes and you’ll find hand sanitisers in all our cabin wash rooms so you can easily keep your hand clean..  We have made a few temporary adjustments to our meal service across all classes as guided by our aviation medical team to make sure we prioritise your wellbeing as always  while making sure we offer a meal you’ll enjoy….. Outbound Crew ……. Taking Care of our cabin crew is and will remain very important to us… before reporting for duty we check the temperatures of every member of the team and require a detailed health declaration …….  an d while onboard, we equip every member of the team with the protective gear they need.. We’ve introduced stricter rules to make sure our cabin crew minimises contact with the local community during their layover, as much as possible..

Launching from Kuaizhou No. 1 A carrier rocket one of many Carrier Rocket variant series of the Wuhan based  Expace, 中國製造 Expace Technology Corporation- a CASIC -China aerospace science and industry corporation in which is launched from a mobile tractor launch platform truck, in which that platform is launched from one of many CNSA –China National Space Administration..  in which launching from Jiuquan Satellite launch center in which is located in the Gobi Desert, inner Mongolia- People’s Republic of China…..

Successfully launch the Xingyun 2 01/02 star into the sky in a “one arrow, two stars” way. Entering the scheduled orbit, . This launch of the Xingyun II 01/02 star was developed by Aerospace Xingyun Technology Co., Ltd. This is the ninth launch mission of Kuaizhou-1 A carrier rocket….Developed by the Xingyun Satellite Co., the satellites will conduct tests on technologies including space-based IoT communications, inter-satellite laser communications and a low-cost commercial satellite platform……They will also carry out initial pilot IoT applications…. KZ-1A is a low-cost solid-fuel carrier rocket featuring high orbit precision and a short preparation period. The rocket, developed by a company affiliated with Sanjiang Group under the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), is mainly used to launch low-orbit small satellites.

Today’s launch is dedicated to the women and men of the Health care services in which in collaboration with the untold whom of been on the front lines of combating the Pandemic of Covid 19 in which Expace, 中國製造 Expace Technology Corporation ExPace also called CASIC Rocket Technology Company, is a Chinese space rocket company based in Wuhan, Hubei, China. Recently at HKIA Hong Kong International Airport  joining the airport team to combat the coronavirus is the Intelligent Sterilisation Robot (ISR). The robot can move autonomously and sterilise up to 99.99% of bacteria and virus in the air and on object surfaces using UV light, 360-degree disinfection spray-heads and 0.3um air filtering. The sterilisation process could be as short as 10 minutes. With the technology developed in Hong Kong, this robot has been used mainly in hospitals. HKIA is the world’s first airport to deploy the sterilisation robot in airport operations.

機場最近找來一位新成員協助抵抗疫情。這款Intelligent Sterilisation Robot (ISR)智能消毒機械人可全自動化移動,並以紫外線消毒燈﹑360度消毒噴頭及0.3um空氣過濾器,消滅在空氣中及物件表面上近99.99%的細菌及病毒,過程最快只需10分鐘。 此項技術由本地科研公司硏發,以往多用於醫院,而香港國際機場是全球首個機場應用此智能消毒機械人。
