Cathay Pacific Airways reveals its new inflight safety video that takes customers through important inflight safety procedures set against the dynamic backdrop of Hong Kong….

Told through the electrifying energy and vibrancy of the airline’s home city, the video was developed in close collaboration with the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and the Civil Aviation Department (CAD) to embody all necessary safety protocols while educating customers in an informative and engaging way.

The safety demonstrations in the video are interwoven with the unique charms of Hong Kong, capturing the city’s iconic landmarks, bustling happenings, world-class arts and cultural attractions, natural landscapes and more.

Scenes were shot at various locations across the city to showcase the best of Hong Kong. Customers are transported to a dai pai dong, the quintessential local dining experience, for the “no smoking” announcement, before finding themselves amidst an exhilarating dragon boat race which provides the backdrop for the life jacket demonstration, while Shek O Beach sets the scene for the emergency and pre-takeoff procedures. Other locales include the shopping paradise of Causeway Bay, Xiqu Centre at the West Kowloon Cultural District, the iconic Peak Tram, Yau Ma Tei’s historic Tin Hau Temple and the serene Clearwater Bay Country Park, all of which culminate in a visually immersive experience for customers.

Replacing the current inflight safety video introduced over seven years ago, the new version will be progressively rolled out across Cathay Pacific flights from 1 August 2024 onwards.

短片中的安全示範與呈現香港獨特魅力的片段交織串連，捕捉香港的著名地標、繁華盛事、世界級的藝文景點及自然景觀等。

攝製團隊於全港多個地點進行拍攝，務求展現出香港別具一格的獨特風貌。顧客先置身於富有香港地道飲食特色的大牌檔中聆聽禁煙指引；然後在緊湊的龍舟競賽中觀看穿着救生衣示範；而石澳沙灘更化作緊急事故及起飛前安全示範的場景。其他景點包括銅鑼灣購物天堂、西九文化區的戲曲中心、首屈一指的觀光熱點山頂纜車、位於油麻地歷史悠久的天后廟，以及寧謐恬靜的清水灣郊野公園，為顧客帶來身臨其境的視覺體驗。

全新飛行安全示範短片將於 2024 年 8 月 1 日起於國泰航空的航班上陸續推出，取代七年前推出的現行版本。

Although concept is quite similar to SQ- Singapore Airlines but very International Iconic it features many numerous Hong Kong SAR’s Cultural Elements  from ancient to modern future of Chinese intangible Cultural Heritage.   – I think it’s great to showcase some of the amazing things about Hong Kong SAR, China, and People’s Republic of China. What I like especially is the backdrop of Hong Kong SAR is there, yet the director makes sure to zoom in and hone in on the safety details like the life vest and oxygen mask- it’s not just a safety video glossing over the safety aspects. In Already Tomorrow In Hong Kong, a group of Hong Kong selected class of 2018- thirty junior high school students in becoming aspiring-inspiring   Taikonauts-Chinese Astronauts in which they got to experience of what life of an Taikonauts life is   Astronauts in an educational trip during the 2017 year.. in which during that year which Our Hong Kong Foundation  INNOTECH 2017 in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, one of the most featured articles is the CNSA-Chinese National Space Administration and their important  work they do in which featured the guest speaker Wang Yaping: China’s second female astronaut whom made living history as part of the crew of the Shenzhou nine crew..  In which the Chinese Central government offer Hong Kong Students in the region to take part in the soon to be first upcoming civilian Taikonaut program….. Within the decade..

Their journey takes them in meeting up with at the Hong Kong Space Museum in Tsim Sha Tsui next to the Hong Kong Cultural Center opposite to the famous hotel The Peninsula Hong Kong… in where there chartered transportation takes them to Hong Kong International Airport among with their families… in which they depart on Cathay Dragon-Cathay Pacific’s Domestic airliner..  From there they embark onwards towards mainland China towards where they spend visiting Beijing Aerospace city also Jiuquan Satellite Launch center in where CNSA launch their Long March carrier rocket program.. From there they did various fun team building working exercises in which constructing a rocket to launch to understand the key concepts..

They visited China Astronaut Research Training center in which located in Beijing in which they got to experience the real training of what the crews train undergoes.. as they tour through China’s Capital Beijing they got to visit NAOC-China Astronomical Observatories Chinese Academy of Sciences in which they got educated like how the Astronaut training undergoes also earning various merits.. As the lesson draws in they got to wear the real EVA suits that they used in space..  In which NAOC-CNSA- Astronaut Center of China’s staff assisted the students in wearing them,  Onwards they under goes the various physical training at the Environmental Control and Life Support Tech where they learning about the environmental and life support systems… in which taking real exams like as did with the training..

Among with the fun nights they got to hang around with the national hero’s key members of the CNSA staff also with the Taikonauts of the Shenzhou nine missions also the National Hero Chinese astronaut Wang Yaping… as the journeys progressive they visited various launching complexes from historic to its current in where what goes behind the scenes..

From there after days of educational fun training, it was time to head off to another destinations one of China’s previous Capitals Xian… In where the Qin Dynasty (221-206 BC) was establish … visiting the terracotta tomb guardians army of the fallen Qin Shi Haung also the Ming Dynasty fortress walls of the inner city in which replaced the aging Qin Dynasty fortifications ……

The key sponsors for the timeless education endeavouring experience in the selection process is the Hong Kong Space Museum,  Hong Kong Government- Leisure and Cultural Services Department, The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong, Astronaut Center of China, JSLC  in which provided the training , transportations, accommodation for all participating students.

Given that you’re interesting for the 2018 selection for the Young Spaceman Experience Camp 2019, in be held on from 27th July to 4th of August 2019 … in which local Hong Kong schools can nominate two students with the forwarding documentations forwarding date before 31st May 2019 or hand in person to the Hong Kong Space museum.. In which they will be selected by interviewing process.. Whom have a key interest in inspiring interest in astronomy and space science, and deepen their understanding of China’s space industry and Chinese culture.

Remembering from the last time that Cathay Pacific Airways adventure through the streets of Bangkok in which their iconic cabin crew staff pick their favourite places, eateries in food culture adventuring in which Cathay Pacific cabin crew member Starlet featuring Starlet … well this case  it’s Taipei’s turn in showcasing their food culture .. Featuring Phoebe Miu – a Photographer, Professional Auditioner….

 Phoebe introduces the iconic Taipei city dishes also eateries to the must eat from the most expensive beef noodles… firstly it’s breakfast in which its Soy Milk King- Da’an District  which they cook in the most traditional breakfast dishes with deep fried bread sticks in which is named Youtiao or common known as the Chinese Doughnut…. Which is wrapped around in Shao Bing or wrapped scrambled eggs with various assortments of vegetables in which to company is the Salty soybean soup….

Onto the next adventure, is Ay-Chung- Wanhua District in which they sell only one type of meal – Flour Rice Noodle.. in which you could dress it up with various of source garnishes in between Garlic, Chilli, Vinegar in which the both soup is so delicious in which as shrimp creamy based with a soft silky noodles… in which another eatery  is Jin Feng- Zhong Zheng District in which they’re known for the iconic Braised pork rice dishes..  in which that Taiwanese most expensive beef noodles in which is price at Niu Ba Ba, – Neihu District, in where their beef is sourced from all over the world from Australia also the United States- in which this dish is call the Presidential Beef Noodle in which is price at ten thousand Taiwanese dollars … in which adventuring in Taipei you can’t miss the famous Bubble pearl milk bubble tea – Chung Shui Tang- Songshan District in which claims to invent bubble tea..

Following into evening Taipei night food culture takes on a different adventure with the Tonghua Night Market- Da’an District in which as the amazing street stall food, in which one dish to try is the Da Chang Bao Xiao Chang in which sausage wrapped in Bao, the second is the Peanut Brittle Ice Cream Spring Roll… in which is a perfect way to end the day..

On 16th February 2018, throughout Asia, also this Planet Earth was celebrating Chinese New Year in bringing the Lunar New Year, in which is the year of the Dog… as Traditional in Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong; Cathay Pacific leads the way of celebrating that night in Tsim Sha Tsui in which the Airliner Cathay Pacific is the key leading sponsor of the International Chinese New Year Parade from the Hong Kong Cultural Center starting off from there in which in which leading the parade, with their iconic Dance moves also the famous flash mob dance performances in  by their flight attendants staff from Cathay Pacific also Cathay Dragon, in which was months in preparation leading to the night as last minute refinement rehearsals was done at the back of the Hong Kong Cultural Center Centre Piazza in which was situated at the Kowloon Public Pier, nearby the Former Kowloon –Canton Railway Clock Tower as where the all the preparations starts with the viewing seating stands with Master of Ceremonies of opening the ceremony launching the parade…… With fourteen international among with eleven locally  performances groups in which supporting the international and local groups is the eighteen pre-parade party performing groups in company with five Music Zones along the parading route..

As for the Public viewing starting point form the Hong Kong Cultural Center Piazza also at the Kowloon Clock Tower making around towards Canton Road in which around to Haiphong Road towards Nathan Road in which ending the at The Peninsula Hong Kong ….  As the Iconic Cathay Pacific flight attendants making it rounds dancing, cheering the crowd also giving away different forms of Lai See souvenirs to the crowds wishing them a celebrating Happy Chinese New Year…… In which Happy Chinese New Year everyone… Wishing you a life well-travelled with an adventuring prosperity…..!
