Armageddon 2011- part one

Today is the first day of Armageddon 2011,Auckland, so far there have been a few changes lately. Even though the even is a little late than one week, and shifted to the following week from the labour weekend. This is partially to make way for the Rugby World Cup that was held in New Zealand.  Other wise the events wise it’s been rather tidy when I walked, this may have been it’s a Friday, a working day,  also too  it just opened at eleven in the later morning and I arrived least a hour later.

I’ve notice that there are three main game studios occupying the main center off the convention center, Microsoft Xbox,  Playstation, and EA games. Last few years Playstation held there stall spotting over the years. And opposing it’s it Microsoft Xbox showing it’s open plan stand with it’s Kinect gamming stations and it’s abilities which successively over Sony’s Playstation’s motion controller. Also to add also is other Game studios which have been traditional there is Activision, also Blizzard.

One thing though I’m rather impressive of EA games also Microsoft Xbox, Kinect display, it’s refine also elegant, where Sony’s playstation is clubbing it down with a in house DJ.

There are few games to look out for which have been featured on the floor, this Friday, mostly are such as EA’s Battlefield 3, Mass effect 3, Dragon Age series, also other tittles such as Gears of war 3, Batman – Arkham City, Call of Duty-Modern warfare three. Uncharted three- Drake’s Deception. Forza- Motorsport four.

The Akoii System

A while ago I’ve mention that I entered into the Andoss system to investigate a search on hold till I have a larger ship. That I’ve have. The search began with a larger ship, with a higher hull ratings than from the last, also what missing are weapons, shields, also with other installations with that equal higher ratings in nature.

The prelude of the investigation lead into the Dorvan Sector in the Alpha Trianguli Sector Block, one sector block upwards to Beta Ursae Sector Block, which is the area which Deep Space nine and Bajor is located. Having making back into the Andoss system investigating contra ban weapons crates that have been dropped off and having found it’s the True Way.  Goal is to destroy those crates that may be used in there operations to destabilized the region.

So we warp into another adjacent system, the Akoii System, where in the debris of  latten waste of  parts aged fragmented across orbiting around the planet which makes a excellent cover to hide. One thing we found there in the distance that were sights of recent constructions facilities, scanning them ever so closely, they were dry-docks in the area, least than a dozen, protected by the true way.

One thing having found is the they were researching, that there were Cardassian ships in guard. And one more thing there were reinforcements of the Jem’ Hadar warships. All able of inflicting server damage to anyone whom investigates. This requires careful planning, taking time even though if you well equip in certain circumstances and used what you got to your best advantages. The planning is to knock out first the larger ships, the Jem’ Hadar warships first then the Cardassian later. Making the way clear to knock out the multiple research fatuities that lies ahead, as it was once guarded.

Last thing once the patrol is done for the Akoii system, other interesting investigations that came about, another adjacent system as heard to be of the same resolve with the True way. so we proceed next to investigate.

Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 is coming soon, which will be launch on this coming Wednesday in New Zealand, on 26th October 2011, Just before Armogedden starts between 28th to 31st October, while in the northern hemisphere international launch, which  it’s on the 25th.

During the New Zealand launch Alienware and EA Games. Alienware will be hosting and opening several,  also micro events before the game is offically launch on midnight at the Westfield Albany Mall, North Shore, in  Auckland, New Zealand. where the game is purchase at JB Hifi.

The gameplay is set between the year 2014, where you finding and safely return a lost squad also during the tour of duty doing  recon on a chemical weapons location.  after finding the location you’ll become intrench in a massive fire fight for quite some time in a and earthquake bound zone in ther middle east.  also it comes in three modes of game play, campagian, co- opervative and  mutliplayer where you’ll get to have least 64 players on PC edition.  The Battlefield arena maps includes New York, Paris, Terhan, Oman, Sarajevo,  Wake Island also Sulaymaniyah.  you’ll be battling out from metro- urban city zones vast landscapes.

Battlefield 3 is produced by EA, Electronics Arts. It’s  played on most consoles, Xbox, Playstation, PC, and also on iOS.

INSTANT EYES -Rocket Lab

Another New Zealand innovation that caught my attention while at the Cloud at the Queen’s wharf, Auckland’s viduact,  is the Rocket lab, Instant Eyes.  During  2009 November 30th , Rocket lab made an important mile stone for New Zealand’s innovation, one happen to be the innovation of commercial rocket company in beginning stages of the development. It took time for Rocket lab to develop the technology themselves from the ground up.

Now they’re developing intelligence gathering devices through the concept of launching low attitude probes to gather observation aerial view of the, launched from a rocket, jettison from within 20 seconds and seeing buildings from above that could giving the ground troops critical life or death situations decisions providing those vital , very critical data coverage at a safe distance at 300 meters live stream to any wireless device in the field of operations.

Instant eyes is a hand held device it has a red trigger on the lanuch tube,  it’s propell by a soild rocket fuel rocket motor, like the ones that are found on the SRB (Solid Rocket Boosters for additional lift). Once it’s launched it reaches to a height of one Kilometer for thirteen seconds to do it’s perform task of being parachuted down gently  to take high resolution imaging in real time of the targeting zone.

It has a altitude of one Kilometers, field of view of one Kilometer, has a image resolution of five megapixels, having weighting at half a kilogram, also can be ready to deployment within 20 seconds.

YikeBike – one cool way to travel.

This one weekend, I was hoping to see the Martin Jet pack that was on show at the Cloud, down at the Queen’s Wharf,Auckland city viaduct wharf, New Zealand. Until I’ve got there I totally missed it, it was on the previous month. Until I’ve got there were other New Zealand innovations, which are breed out from design. design and breed out from Christchurch New Zealand.

One happens to be a bike with is electric powered. I’ve stumble the bike apond, after watching the large titan screen showing New Zealand’s innovation. When looking on to this I’ve notice it’s like riding in between the Segway and riding a bike, but even more elegant in traveling.

The Segway is an great personal mobile transportation device, but. Can you fold up one? And take it with you all around also too. Looking in between the Segway and the YikeBike, the YikeBike wins, it’s more practical, you could fold compacting and take it with you when not in use and fold it out when.

It has a range of estimated of ten Kilometers, maximum velocity of 23 Km/hr,  time to charge is 55 minutes depends on optional battery packages.  It also have lighting for safety in mind to let others know that your there.  The range of travel is also dependent of the battery capacity option that you chose. There are two series the Fusion, and the Carbon. The Carbon happens to be all carbon fiber composites, and the Fusion is a combination of Aluminum and Composites materials.  Compact wise when fold it comes to 43 liters, and runs on electric brushes DC motor, with the engine power of 450 watts.

It comes in different colors, but you could have the option of having your different designs imprinted on the bike itself.
