If you wondering over the last few months, Star Trek Online.. Have been in development of a new carrier… The first introduction of creating this carrier, that the guys at Star Trek Online  started to developing process through a process from various  concept sketches… then eventually gets filtered out one by one into the finally design into the eventually the Jupiter Class..

The Jupiter Class is basically a carrier class, in nature… With the same Hulling rating alike as the Obelisk class but in more with look of the Battlestar and a star destroyer the design of the Jupiter is beautiful and sleek, it’s after section is like inspired of the Battlestars in Battlestar Galatica. The saucer section is integrated into the engineering section of the hull…..

As with three forward and rear weapons in the Jupiter load out, its best to have either as a completely as a beam and torpedo boat or in its placement of forward Dual Cannons and rear turrets with keeping your distance in mind away from your target.. orthough it comes with three forward and rear weapons consoles….  the ship is basically science and engineering heavy with four consoles in with three tactical console.. as retrospect of the bridge station seating..

The “tier six Jupiter carrier Class” also is very Engineering and science console heavy with four engineering and four science.. in which will give you some heavy modifications to or hulling and shielding or with some other console modifications in which has three tactical consoles.. The Jupiter comes with plus ten in Shielding also Auxiliary Power aswell, in which a fleet warp core with Auxiliary to weapons system will help in providing the more decrease in the cool time in weapons..

At first when I tried out the Fleet T6 Jupiter class in a combat instance with dual cannons and turrets It was heavy to manoeuvre around to focusing on the target, having without using the fighters, in going doing the basics with the bridge officers selected abilities.. Having noticing its heaviest like the Jupiter is heavy like the Battlestar Galatica, it’s the heaviest more than the Odyssey, The Catian and The Obelisk Carrier class….. so in the heaviest I install the most basics beam arrays and torpedoes in which it works in keeping a reasonable distance to the target, also slowly rotating the ship around in keeping my shields fresh without being been drained constantly one side..

Traditionally the Jupiter is a Carrier It’s loaded up with two fighter consoles so in its traditionally comes with Peregrine fighters, but  later accessorising it with Callisto light fighters in three variants will give you that advantage.. also it’s a homage  to in  named after one of the senior officers of the Ambassador class Enterprise C in that Next Generation episode “ Yesterday’s Enterprise”..

Also given the Tier Six not the fleet one comes with a Fleet Coordination Matrix Universal Console.. in this console gives you an increase advantages of Damage and accuracy also you team will be that recipient temporary of abilities of increase hulling points and passively accuracy and hit points..

The Jupiter is a great ship, but keeping the distance away from the target gives you that advantage like you’re flying the Battlestar Galactica like how Admiral Adama.. or Husker did..

As the evolution of the Galaxy Dreadnought class continues into the “Yamato Dreadnought class”, a more aggressive Battleship version of the Andromeda Class… it’s like having a bad ass snipers Rifle with a bayonet at the end when it meet its opponent..  As the development from the Galaxy to the Yamato, taking its name from the Japanese Animie Battleship Yamato, also from the largest world war two Battleship constructed at the finically broken Imperial Japan at the end of the war in which gotten met it’s end with the onslaught of Allied forces..

The Yamato Class is like the four wheel drive, Battle Tank of the Galaxy, Venture dreadnought class its more bulk larger in size in hull, with a larger deflector shield dish, an a more a solid saucer section with a mean Spinal Phaser Lance that’s acts like a Sniper’s rifle with a taste of a bayonet.. When comes to Saucer separation, the Spinal Phaser Lance becomes more a dual Shot gun rifle so moving into the target would require a much closer range rather without the saucer separation…

The Tier Six Yamato Class comes without the console parts of the previous Exploration Cruisers, given that you have those consoles it this case it’s those consoles will give you an advantage given without one console you won’t able to use that shot gun.. The ship is also a carrier with one hanger bay with that in mind the combat play is very akin to the Odyssey class…also it’s equip bridge station wise with a Lieutenant Commander Engineering / Command seat..  In which this is a basically Engineering and tactical ship… Given with four tactical and five engineering consoles…its makes a great medic besides Science in healing your team..

There’s two ways in arming the Yamato, with turrets, dual cannons, with torpedoes or replacement of all out beams with one heavy dual cannon, and torpedoes.. Either or will give you the advantage.. when once you make tactical cool timing down reduce …. Also it has one universal console it’s a Supplemental Subsystems…. It increase your vessel subsystems only briefly in attracting you syphoning your opponents subsystems into yours as more times you’re been attack the more the syphoning  of the opponents subsystems.. As part of this ability is that with an overload you create a electrical bubble burst affecting more damaging of their subsystems ….. one thing of many that I like of Yamato’s inertia rating of 25 which means you could rotate fast the ship to minimised shield drainage when it been attack..
