The NROL 52 is Launched from an Atlas V 421 launch carrier configuration in which the first stage is the Atlas five rocket powered up with a RD -180 Engine with a secondary carrier staging powered by a Areojet Rocketdyne RL10C-1 Engine.. among that its different that to the previous configuration of NROL 42 that was launched from West Coast Californian coast line from Launch Complex three from Vandenberg Air Force Base… with Atlas V 541 instead of four SRB’s Solid Rocket boosters it only for this launch as two SRB’s given its payload must be least smaller in weight than the previous NROL 42…. 

The NROL- 52- is a Data observationally data gathering communications assessment satellite in which one of many purposes is also assessments of weather observation also earth environmental sciences of data analysis natural disasters, earthquakes, tsunamis, flooding’s, and fires… also provides the provisions of communications of supporting peacekeeping and humanitarian relief operations..

Featuring in the commentary for the launch, is Amanda Kuker, is talking throughout the process… in which it the whole process of the launch of NROL 42, did had some issues, but the issues was resolved rapidly… as the launch did had some issue prior in the battery replacement on the Atlas V booster carrier rocket.. Due then, the weather was favourable for the night time launch as the initial launch process was actual to launch on 21st September 2017, in which was launch slated, Due to the nature of the payload the live webcast stream of the launch stream was only broadcast till before the flaring was deployed..
