After a recently delude of rain in the recents week in Auckland, New Zealand… May 2017, as the weeks progressively weather wise clearing for the remainingly teasing blankets of rain clouds seductively in revealing crystal wintery night skies… in which the Planet Jupiter with its four main Galilean Moons Io, Europa, Castillo, Ganymede was in its progressive orbiting view as it skew one side from Occultation to transiting around it parent planet. Viewing that Autumn Wintery cold night, I could see Jupiter’s iconic signature Giant Red three Earth’s width spot, moved from the last time I’ve viewed it, as it was recently last in the center view, then now it’s on almost at the circumference rim of the Planet looking at least averagely eight hundred million kilometers also forty Minutes ago back in time from the Planet Earth the third planet from the nearest star, the Sun… in the Solar -Sol System …….

Filmed during a remarkable opening window of a very stormy night in the making in which the clouds nomadic blanketing the night skies… Then comes an opening during the early evening before later in the night becomes a very much traditional Auckland’s cloudy night sky in to the night..
Using the thirty inch mirror – Cassegrain telescope nickname “Edith” after its Donor Edith Winstone Blackwell at Auckland Observatory- Stardome... with my friend in showing to the Planet Jupiter while there’s an opening window in between clouds on that night telling a family Jupiter ‘stories, .. in which there’s it is the iconic more than 100,000 year old three Earth width stormy red eye that’s located in the tropics of the hundreds thousands of layered on-going hurricane storms that everlasting looking at the still while Planet Jupiter starts to recedes to be the closest towards this Planet Earth. In view….

Just recently this month of early April 2017, during the first week April 2017 on about the seventh of April 2017 in the constellation Virgo, it’s been the very closest to Jupiter, during this month being very fortunate to record its closest… With its four Galilean Moons Io, Europa, Ganymede Callisto … in which from Auckland, New Zealand, the largest planet in the solar system, the gaseous planet Jupiter can been seen during the Summery and Autumn season as it rises early now as it transition towards making way for the winter night sky in which the Second largest Planet Saturn makes way transition with winter constellation Scorpio for winter.. in that fortunate I was able to capture its view during the night.. as each nights view is unique, it’s unreplicable….
As it rises from the East toward the west in the southern hemisphere, Given that you have a larger tracking or non-tracking mirror telescope among with a good set of lens to help you to magnify the image you can see the planets moons, in which you can see the define details of the layered iconic weathering stripes from the southern to its northern pole in different Neapolitan colours indicating many different layers with that in mind you’ll catch a glimpse of the giant three Earth width red spot in among the tropical equator of the planet that rotating around the planet in which its pretty nomadic depending on its period duration that you’ll going to see it..
