On the 1st August 2024 schedule to launch  CNSA _China National Space Administration -China – People’s Republic of China 2114 Hours Hong Kong –Beijing Time China- People’s Republic of China…. at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, Sichuan Province…..  at the No. 2 site of the Xichang Launch Center in China, the “Long March 3B” carrier rocket carrying the Satellite Internet High-orbit Satellite 02 was ignited and launched, and the satellite was sent to the geosynchronous transfer orbit (GTO).

The “passenger” of this mission, Satellite Internet High-orbit Satellite 02, was developed by the 5th Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and is the successor to Satellite Internet High-orbit Satellite 01.

The Long March 3B is a medium-sized liquid carrier rocket developed by the First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, with a three-and-a-half-stage configuration. At present, the Long March 3B is in use in the enhanced version (CZ-3B/E), of which the modified version (CZ-3B/G2) is the most powerful model. The modified version 2 rocket is 56.326 meters long, with a maximum core stage diameter of 3.35 meters, a takeoff mass of 458.97 tons, and a maximum capacity of 5.55 tons for a standard geosynchronous transfer orbit (GTO). This launch mission was launched during the rainy season in Xichang. Based on the various waterproof designs of the rocket, the model team made full use of multiple protections such as anti-condensation air conditioning and moisture-proof sand, and took waterproof and moisture-proof measures.

This mission is the 97th launch of the Long March 3B rocket. Since the successful launch of the Long March 3B Yao 68 (68th) on June 23, 2020, the rocket has achieved 30 consecutive victories. In 2024, the Long March 3A series of rockets will once again enter a high-density launch period. So far this year, the Long March 3B has carried out 4 launch missions.

This launch is the 10th launch from the Xichang Launch Center in 2024, the 34th launch in China and the 138th launch in the world. At the same time, this launch is also the 529th launch of the “Long March” series of rockets.

Although concept is quite similar to SQ- Singapore Airlines but very International Iconic it features many numerous Hong Kong SAR’s Cultural Elements  from ancient to modern future of Chinese intangible Cultural Heritage.   – I think it’s great to showcase some of the amazing things about Hong Kong SAR, China, and People’s Republic of China. What I like especially is the backdrop of Hong Kong SAR is there, yet the director makes sure to zoom in and hone in on the safety details like the life vest and oxygen mask- it’s not just a safety video glossing over the safety aspects. Well done Cathay

Music is a unifying language that brings people together by transcending cultures and boundaries. We’re delighted to present Song of Cathay, a musical odyssey that moves us emotionally and forward. Our uplifting, inspirational and journey-like composition, crafted by leading sonic design agency, Sixième Son, is inspired by the vibrancy of Hong Kong as well as our love for travel and aviation. Performed by Asian Youth Orchestra, the piece articulates the warm sense of hospitality and the spirit of adventure. Delve into our creation process behind Song of Cathay, and discover how we put together a tune that evokes your fond memories of travel through our #MoveBeyond spirit.
” We proudly present the debut live performance of Song of Cathay by The Asian Youth Orchestra (AYO). Scored to inspire —— with its atmospheric tones, pentatonic structure, and influences from the Heart of Hong Kong, Song of Cathay is an auditory expression encapsulating one unifying goal—to capture our #MoveBeyond spirit and lift us all forward.”

Also  loving Really this version, not only because it shows Hong Kong and its culture but also because, unlike similar videos made by other airlines, Cathay keeps the emergency evacuation part delivered in a very straight, direct, and serious way, which is very critical…..

At 0649 Morning Hours Hong Kong SAR- Beijing Time5th July 2024 , China- People’s Republic of China- CNSA –China National Space Administration   Successfully launched  Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Yao 7 Carrier Rocket ignited and took off at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center Shanxi Province..  Successfully launch China successfully launched the Tianhui-5 satellite group 02

At 6:49 am on July 5, 2024, Beijing time, China successfully launched the Tianhui-5 satellite group 02 at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center using the Long March 6 modified carrier rocket. The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit and the launch mission was a complete success. The satellite mainly carries out tasks such as geographic information surveying and mapping, land and resources surveys, and scientific experimental research. The Tianhui-5 satellite group 02 and the Long March 6 modified rocket were both developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

This launch is the 527th launch…of the Long March series of carrier rockets

长征六号 Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Y7 Carrier Rocket optimized the final stage passivation process and improved the safety of the final stage in orbit. Compared with the previous mission, this mission has improved the test and launch plan and standardized various operations at the launch site, reducing the test and launch process in the launch area by 2 days and further shortening the launch cycle.

It is understood that for launch missions with orbital altitudes above 800 kilometers, starting the second-stage engine twice can significantly increase the carrying capacity. In order to meet the launch requirements of such satellites and enhance mission adaptability, the Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Y7 Carrier Rocket  began the development work related to the second-stage double start as early as 2018. “In the second half of this year, the Chang-liu modified rocket will conduct its first flight in a two-stage two-start state.” the Aerospace Science and Technology Group revealed to Long March.

Currently, the Changliu rocket is still carrying out demonstration work on the satellite fairing scheme with a diameter of 5.2 meters, which will provide a larger envelope space for the satellite and further improve mission adaptability. “In the future, the Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Y7 Carrier Rocket will also undertake more satellite launch missions to meet more satellite launch needs.” Xiang Changzheng said.
