NASA-Space Launch Systems | Firing up that testing that five segment SRB with that 360 view…

 

On 28 June 2016, “NASA- Orbital ATK” has fired up the last test qualification testing for the five segment solid rocket booster in preparation for the return to moon on the year 2020… The Testing is done at Promontory in Utah in which is viewed by five thousand attendees whom attended the view of testing … in which is one of Orbital ATK’s testing facilities..  As part of this testing is done before an unmanned flight in a fully stack up Space launched System –SLS configuration to test flight on the 2018 launch calendar year… with the unmanned command Orion module with 154 feet long, with an excessive of 3.6 million pounds of thrust at Mach three in which connected to a first stage unit at that first flight with four RS-25 engines…..

While the four segment solid rocket boosters were designed for the Space Transportation System in this was during the Space Shuttle era… The SLS system is designed along the same tooling and design heritage like the STS-Space Shuttle systems many elementary designs, tooling, are brought and inspire on to the SLS systems in order to reduce the operational cost…..

SPACE SHUTTLE Endeavour | OV 105 final flight tested external fuel tank arrives in LA….

 

On clear fine day on Los Angeles,  on 21st May 2016 the one route path of Los Angeles was closed down from Marina del Rey’s Harbour after a nineteen hour trip through the streets of LA, to Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum where It was store temporary to make way for the final stages of massive display at the “ California Science Centre” with a full stack, with the pair of solid rocket boosters, the external fuel tank with the Shuttle Endeavour joined together in which they vertically where it would seeming like if was prime up for relaunch at Kennedy Space Center in Florida..  in the new wing of the Samuel Oschin Pavilion…

The journey started from a forty one day journey from “NASA” Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans in which they tooled, manufactured external fuel Tanks for the Space Shuttle program… in which is now retooled for the Space Launch System for the return to the moon, and onwards to Mars beyond, in which the transportation of External Tank number 94, travelled by ocean through the Panama channel to Los Angles Marina del Rey..

NASA | SLS – Space Launch System…… what’s to come..

 

As the timetable is set to return to the moon, then onwards to Mars then onwards to Jupiter and Saturn, “NASA” also it with its partners, are construction of one of the most powerful rockets ever built, it’s call the Space Launch System, it’s the successor to the Space Transport System in which its larger more powerful than any other complex engine system that NASA has constructed since the Apollo Program as this animation explains..

It’s component construction is diverted out from the Space Shuttle STS design heritage tooling systems, noticing the external longer Tank with the most notable five segment Solid Rocket boosters also in carrying on with the tradition of  having an Orion Command module on its upper stage carrying up to four crew onboard.. as a multi-purpose, or role space craft.. also the vehicle is designed to carry larger payloads than the STS-Space Shuttle program, in which that payload could variant in mission purpose type… in view it should be interesting to see the other variants extreme heavy’s of the SLS in the developing missions to come..

On 15th July 2016, “Boeing” has already reached its centennial years of 100 years of making it possible for flight… on innovation progressively decade by decade in becoming one of two major Aerospace companies in building commercial, civilian, and defensive Aircraft… Also as going beyond Space is back then is only the beginning as it prepares with NASA and its partners of governmentally and commercially of going back to the Moon that’s been stagnated since 1972   …  since it was a small family company that had a passion for flight now of various… in extending in breaking the boundaries ..

In this hopefully within this century of Boeing as this is there mission statement of what’s to come, hopefully we, have flying cars built both within aircraft and car manufacturers, with hyper sonic travel of traveling to cites within minutes, countries within least a few hours with..
