The Pallas-1 series of launch vehicles are compatible with fairings with diameters of 3.35m, 4.2m, and 5.2m to meet the needs of different satellite customers. The fairing used in this test is one of the series of fairing products independently developed and designed by Galaxy Power, and is consistent with the Pallas-1 Yao-1 flight test product. The fairing adopts a von Karman shape, which has the advantages of low flight aerodynamic resistance, light structural mass and easy operation.

The fairing end cap is made of high-strength ablation-resistant composite material, a large area of honeycomb sandwich composite material structure, and a metal frame structure at the rear. The fairing separation system adopts a “hinge-spring” half-cover rotation separation scheme, and the lateral and longitudinal separation unlocking devices both use point-type explosive bolts, which have small impact during the separation process and high separation reliability.

The static test of the fairing assessed the fairing’s ability to resist external loads and verified the structural strength. The test achieved the intended purpose and obtained relevant data. The modal test obtained the fairing’s modal parameters, providing a basis for structural dynamics model modification and fairing separation calculation.

The fairing separation test fully verified the correctness of the fairing separation system design, obtained the collision boundary data between the fairing separation body and the payload, assessed the adaptability of the structural system to the separation concentrated force load and the impact load of pyrotechnics, and obtained important mechanical environment parameters.

The complete success of the fairing series tests indicates that Galaxy Aerospace has the ability to quickly design, analyze and test large liquid rocket fairings, laying a solid foundation for the company’s subsequent model development.

Although concept is quite similar to SQ- Singapore Airlines but very International Iconic it features many numerous Hong Kong SAR’s Cultural Elements  from ancient to modern future of Chinese intangible Cultural Heritage.   – I think it’s great to showcase some of the amazing things about Hong Kong SAR, China, and People’s Republic of China. What I like especially is the backdrop of Hong Kong SAR is there, yet the director makes sure to zoom in and hone in on the safety details like the life vest and oxygen mask- it’s not just a safety video glossing over the safety aspects. Well done Cathay

At 0649 Morning Hours Hong Kong SAR- Beijing Time5th July 2024 , China- People’s Republic of China- CNSA –China National Space Administration   Successfully launched  Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Yao 7 Carrier Rocket ignited and took off at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center Shanxi Province..  Successfully launch China successfully launched the Tianhui-5 satellite group 02

At 6:49 am on July 5, 2024, Beijing time, China successfully launched the Tianhui-5 satellite group 02 at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center using the Long March 6 modified carrier rocket. The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit and the launch mission was a complete success. The satellite mainly carries out tasks such as geographic information surveying and mapping, land and resources surveys, and scientific experimental research. The Tianhui-5 satellite group 02 and the Long March 6 modified rocket were both developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

This launch is the 527th launch…of the Long March series of carrier rockets

长征六号 Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Y7 Carrier Rocket optimized the final stage passivation process and improved the safety of the final stage in orbit. Compared with the previous mission, this mission has improved the test and launch plan and standardized various operations at the launch site, reducing the test and launch process in the launch area by 2 days and further shortening the launch cycle.

It is understood that for launch missions with orbital altitudes above 800 kilometers, starting the second-stage engine twice can significantly increase the carrying capacity. In order to meet the launch requirements of such satellites and enhance mission adaptability, the Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Y7 Carrier Rocket  began the development work related to the second-stage double start as early as 2018. “In the second half of this year, the Chang-liu modified rocket will conduct its first flight in a two-stage two-start state.” the Aerospace Science and Technology Group revealed to Long March.

Currently, the Changliu rocket is still carrying out demonstration work on the satellite fairing scheme with a diameter of 5.2 meters, which will provide a larger envelope space for the satellite and further improve mission adaptability. “In the future, the Chang Zheng – Long March 6A Y7 Carrier Rocket will also undertake more satellite launch missions to meet more satellite launch needs.” Xiang Changzheng said.
