On 21st of September 2015 “SpaceX” did a Test firing on their newly improve Falcon nine Merlin engines, the testing was on the Densified Propellant… the new testing of the modified engines of the nine Merlin’s increase in sea level thrust of 170,000 from its previous 147,000 pounds… with the newly acquired thrust is hopefully to increase in Payload weight in given packaging on the Dragon nine Cargo or Manned to the international space station as it due to replace the Russian Federal Space Agency, RKA’s tendership of Crew Transport on the Soyuz, manned Progress Command Module… The test firing, a planned fifteen seconds, testing the first stage at Space X’s McGregor Test Launch facilities at Texas….
Command modules come a long way from the days of Apollo; the Space Shuttle also the Soyuz program, especially the design technology ergonomics aspects and it’s functionally. As the days of building up to when the Soyuz tendership from launching passengering Astronauts and Cosmonauts starts to expire from the Russian Federal Space Agency, Roscosmos end once” NASA”” Boeing’s” Orion and “Space X’s Dragon Manned Command Module” takes its place …
As for the interior in this was based on utilizing the up to date technologies. One or many things that I like about the Manned Dragon nine Module, is the clean white tidy lines inside with the basics colours of white and black, in allowing more outside therefore using less energy to light up the interior for seven crew members….also the interior resemble something out from the a pimp out white out Nissan Skyline..
As with the central console in which allows navigation, communications and Helm control… noting everything is wireless connected that you could control the vehicle from a tablet or through an EVA suit as the Orion Command Module is which makes everything efficient… looking at the main console is there’s no switches like the old days of Apollo Module replacing is a tri touch screen in which reduces the accidental switching in which is housed in protective housing… It should very interesting to see the NASA Boeing Orion Module interior would looks whether it would looks very sleek likes Space X Manned Dragon’s Command Module..
NASA – ISS LIVE
This other app that I’ve pick up during this week, is the NASA International Space Station Live, it very quiet straight forward to you used, as I found this goes in hand with other App I reviewed previously, Star Walk also Solar Walk. Both Apps have the real time positioning of the International Space Station.
Developed by NASA to education outreach the public about the ISS- International Space Station, this app shows you the Partners of the assembly of the ISS. In a coloured three dimensional form, such country partners as Canada (CSA), Europe (ESA) Japan (JAXA) Russia(RFSA-ROSCOSMOS) , United States (NASA) and other international partners.
One of the other features, shows it real time positioning, around the earth, and the orientation of the main Solar Panels that powers the life station up. One good thing it recives live updates of what it’s doing around the orbit of the Earth. There’s another interesting part of the App, which gives you a virtual tour of the ISS mission Control Centre and gives you a tour information on what Station console office does. The time line is one of the most impressive part, gives you a chronological order of what the expeditions missions to come, present, and past. Also if you explore the timeline app further it shows the crews day’s schedule, like lunch, breakfast, and other daily routines throught-out the day.
