On Friday, 5th December 2014, the “Video Games Awards” the” Oscars” of the video gaming industry and media, in which was held in in “Las Vegas”,  showcasing the latest games, awarding in the same Voting Categories like the Oscars and the people awards… like in various categories.. In each of the categories the winners was award with a game Award in which was design and created by “Weta Workshop” with the supervision of “Sir Richard Taylor “ and his Weta Workshop  team whom did the amazing a visual and props effects with many productions like the Lord of the rings, The Hobbit, Elysium…

The Angel Trophy design is to celebrate that excellence in the Video game industry in Which Sir Richard Taylor … “The angel rising to the heavens pursuing great heights out from the digital blocks of the land is the inspiration of the design……..” in the creative process the trophy when through many designs with 3D printing to see the what that trophy would look like, with the aspirations designs of hoping in having a timeless quality style where telling that story of various games through every era..

For the first time the President of United states, “President Obama” gets artistically printed in 3D in collaboration with the “Smithsonian” , in previously it was a plaster cast to get the true likeness of the Presidents in creating that Bust or life cast…

Now in this process takes on now on different techniques in getting creating that Portrait of a sitting President… In this also Adam Metallo, the 3D Digitization program officer at the Smithsonian explains.. By using  a mobile light box in which consist of measuring millions of measurements, using from custom built  fifty LED lights, with fifty Sports Hi-Res, and six wide angle Cameras, in which to capture those millions of measurements with using a Hand Held Light  3D scanner,  to fringe light scan the dimensions to composite a digital portrait of the President..

On during the month of October 2014 in Paris France “Iris Van Herpen design” her collection of her Spring Summer collection of 2015 – “Magnetic Motion” took to the runway in which the collection inspired by the LHC –the Large Hadron collider at “CERN” in that inspiration collection is the creation of 3D printed dress in custom fitting semi-translucent SLA, also in creating, creatively designed Jackets, Heels, skirts, in custom body formed..

In this collection a magical semi translucent Strapless mini dress was on a runway model custom tailored for a Dutch model Lekeiene Stange… The process was to scan a dressmaker to fit Lekeiene form to finalised the printed dress in using a process SLA-sterolithography in getting that magical translucent texture in collaboration with “3D systems” in using a PROX 950 machine…The collection is very minimalist colour palettes of white, black, and blue… also that semi-translucent of the garments creates an additional asset with beautifully illuminating crystalizing printed micro webbing… in creating that particle collisions, and magnetic fields that occupies the LHC..

During this month of September 2014 at the “international Manufacturing Technology Show”…  In Chicago the state of Illinois a 3D printed electric car will be presented during the show… that Car is call the Strati… the Strati came about when “local Motors” decided to choose the final design… to 3D printed the car in which that became the Strati was chosen  out massively from the online community..

The Strati in printing took just in one print in forty four hours to print… then the rest was to add the necessaries vital components to make it to look like a car…  thinking in what Local Motors was looking for its sporty buggy and open road in nature..
