During this month 2022 July Cathay Pacific Is gearing up progressively is bring the fleet back home to Hong Kong SAR –China – People’s Republic of China from an idle storage Alice Springs desert for quite some time, in which was store  Throughout the pandemic, ensuring our passengers’ safety has always been our priority. A significant part of this effort came in keeping idle aircraft in the Alice Springs desert protected and fly ready.

Gear up and ready to go, we’re ready to take to the skies again! With the continuous relaxation of global travel policies, 猫泰泰航 has resumed flights to more destinations and increased the number of flights, adding about 3,000 passenger flights between October and the end of December, providing passengers with more convenient travel options. Behind the flight’s return to the sky is the result of the joint efforts of our frontline and logistics colleagues. More than 250 of our colleagues conduct a thorough safety check for each flight back to Hong Kong, conduct a comprehensive deep cleaning of the cabin, update the functions of the seats and entertainment systems, replace seat covers and carpets, etc., and strive to create a better environment for passengers. A safe and comfortable cabin environment. We have been striving for excellence, hoping to bring passengers a more excellent flight experience, and continue to connect you to the world!

With a large reduction to our flight schedule, we protected more than 70 of our planes in Alice Springs, in the Australian desert. Pearl Sau, Line Maintenance Operations Manager and Benjamin Connell, Regional Engineering Manager Southwest Pacific, explain how our teams took on this unprecedented challenge. With the aim to transform the passengers’ travel experience at Hong Kong International Airport, different multimedia features are set up at three zones of the airport to enhance the ambience of the terminal. Join us and embark on this unique journey of discovery at HKIA to be transported into a digital world at Hong Kong International Airport’s three new multimedia zones!

To set the tone for this exciting “Journey of Discovery”, we have transformed the passenger elevator at the heart of Terminal 1 into a crystal facade that opens to reveal eight digital works related to Hong Kong, travel and cheeky fun. The works include a paper craft rendition of the city from sunrise to sunset in “Hong Kong Journey”; an animated crossover between Hong Kong characters 癲噹 DinDong, 大泥 Bigsoil and 文地貓 Mandycat in “Claw & Catch”; and a glimpse into the deep blue world of wonder in “The Aquarium”.Description: 🐠

For a more serene experience, travellers can retreat to the two “Waterfall Gardens” at the North and South Gardens in the Arrivals Hall. In which during the 15th March 2022 Tuesday CNSA –CMS-China Manned Space Engineering Office announced, the “Tiangong Classroom” of China’s space station will choose an opportunity to conduct the second space teaching activity coming soon with Takionaut Space Teacher Wang Yaping and her Teachers Assistants Zhai Zhigang Ye Guangfu The second class from China Space Station by Shenzhou13 Takionauts will be held at 1540 Hong Kong SAR Beijing Time on 23rd March 2022. The live class is designed to demonstrate space technology and inspire young students’ passion for science….

The second class from China’s Tiangong space station by Shenzhou-13 astronauts – Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu – will be held at 3:40 pm BJT on March 23. The second episode of the “Tiangong Class” series will also be held as a space-Earth talk between the astronauts in space and the youth on Earth, aiming to ignite their interest in science and space. This time, astronauts will conduct various experiments, such as crystallization of saturated liquid, liquid bridge and water-oil separation. They will also demonstrate the difference between throwing objects in space and on Earth, and introduce space science facilities. The three Chinese astronauts went to space aboard the Shenzhou-13 spacecraft and entered China’s space station on October 16, 2021, embarking on the country’s longest-ever crewed space mission, of 6 months. The three astronauts will return to Earth in April as planned

The content of the second space lecture was widely selected from the opinions and suggestions collected, and were carefully designed according to the facilities conditions of China’s space station. The lectures will be live-streamed throughout on multi various platforms on traditional to social live streaming mediums in which featuring Wang Yaping’s Daughter. The first space class has further shortened the distance between young people and manned spaceflight, and there has been a continuous upsurge in exploring the mysteries of spaceflight and learning spaceflight knowledge.

After the first space class, all sectors of society participated in the “Tiangong Classroom” teaching content collection activity through news media and the Internet.
