Introducing 香港國際機場Hong Kong International Airport. – Hong Kong International Airport City newest Terminal One Art work installation A new multimedia experience “Journey of Discovery”

With the aim to transform the passengers’ travel experience at Hong Kong International Airport, different multimedia features are set up at three zones of the airport to enhance the ambience of the terminal. Join us and embark on this unique journey of discovery at HKIA to be transported into a digital world at Hong Kong International Airport’s three new multimedia zones!

To set the tone for this exciting “Journey of Discovery”, we have transformed the passenger elevator at the heart of Terminal 1 into a crystal facade that opens to reveal eight digital works related to Hong Kong, travel and cheeky fun. The works include a paper craft rendition of the city from sunrise to sunset in “Hong Kong Journey”; an animated crossover between Hong Kong characters 癲噹 DinDong, 大泥 Bigsoil and 文地貓 Mandycat in “Claw & Catch”; and a glimpse into the deep blue world of wonder in “The Aquarium”.Description: 🐠

For a more serene experience, travellers can retreat to the two “Waterfall Gardens” at the North and South Gardens in the Arrivals Hall. Expect pleasant surprises when you interact with the waterfall, creek and pond within a multimedia ecosystem! The “Totems of Joy” at the Central Concourse boarding gates have also been installed with selfie-worthy evolving content.

During this year of 2021 The World’s Leading Asia World City – Hong Kong SAR-China- People’s Republic of China ….Hong Kong’s century-old Star Ferry Pier in Tsim Sha Tsui gets a new lease of life with Art Tech! The artwork combines a 180° mural on the curved pier wall and a 360° panorama online game in another. Take a look……

“….This is a rather big mural painting project in Hong Kong …..It’s special also the brand colour of the Star Ferry Pier is Dark green.. I can beautify the pier wall with my colours injecting energy and fun……….. And outside the windows on the curve wall is the scenic Victoria Harbour, I’ve always been inspired by the architecture in Hong Kong ….. The Star Ferry Pier and many other International icons in Hong Kong have often appeared in my works… The wall pictures the scenery outside the windows ….. It’s Pictured in the same position where you stand ….. I included a lot of animals and surreal subjects in my works like dolphins flying in the sky, in which Hong Kong is rich in marine life and birds.. in which many other Chinese traditional festivals Dragon Boat  for the Tuen Ng festival is there to show customs and festivals in Hong Kong .. I’ve also added lots of Brand Hong Kong elements…….

 

 

We’ve also had an interactive multimedia view for the adjacent Pier, by scanning a QR Code with Mobile phones People can see the 360 illustration….. Jane Lee Messy Desk Mural is also a Multiple awardingly winning artist having graduated from Hong Kong Design institute.. Her works appeared in the United Kingdom, Untied States, France, Germany, Poland, Finland, also in cities in China – People’s Republic of China of Shenzhen also Macau SAR ..
