There’s something that you might need on your working desktop or on top on your bedside drawer next to bunch of bouquet of sonic screwdrivers, its cute only 4.5 inches tall, with a wicked vworping vworp alarm sound with the blue box lantern simulating the tardis landing.  The other wicked thing is that at night you could have the clock projector projecting the time. On the wall.. Also  the Tardis projector clock requires three triple A’s batteries, excluding the Eye of Harmony thou.

My Thoughts- crafting…jewellery

Uniquely timeless beautifully crafted sterling silver ring with fluorite – Emma Williams Jewellery.

I went to an awesome meet up on Saturday in a café and lounge bar in high street in Auckland. There was lots conversationally discussions. There was interesting topic that came into the fold; it was the way of how to craft in the manufacturing process of creating beautifully crafted jewellery.

We got talking into the traditionally process either requires of getting the molten metal, in silver, gold, or platinum into a mould, and waiting to set, then later of applying other items with precious gemstones or jewels to the crafted item, then polishing it to give the finishing jewellery.  Other traditional ways is starting from starch of using a small bar simple of sliver and crafting it into a ring,  then later crafting other filigrees  items on to it to create the beautifully made piece.

We digress into an into topic which to exploration utilizes CAD software in with 3D printing creating wearable art, in creating more filigrees items, by 3D printing, the that will create an item that will used  for the process of creating a mould. Where she also explains the processes of traditionally made casting.  Then later to use to create the metal version, with this process you could create brilliantly made metallically finely detail lacy crafted items as seem in some filigree noble Chinese ladies hair wear or other creative jewellery.  Also with this process it can be used to mass produce items. This process could apply assembling small fitted pieces together through traditionally jeweller’s methods to craft into more complex pieces.

Give that thought, the same method of 3D printing could apply given than a sensitive controlled melted sliver gold jet printing device used as the same akin process of special resin and ultra violet light that follow the printer’s jet printing head. This method could by past the moulding casting also the wax mould process, then later all the work is done is to polishing and finishing the beautifully made solid Silver or gold jewellery.

Found this as I was strolling for some serious Doctor Who stuff and this will make a pretty cute bedroom or lounge decorative décor to accommodate the pillows on the bed or the cushions in the lounge, with some colourful Daleks plushies which comes in Blue, Red, and Yellow. When you squeeze, the Tardis Plush, it talks also goes for the Dalek plushies as well. There’s one arrangement of many that you could have them in the same arrangement as the Pac Man ghost Daleks chasing the Tardis given that you have all four.

Your Star Trek Valentines….

Ever wonder what you could give to your girlfriend for this year? For a starters just to surprise her in the morning a confectionery box of tricorders, hand held phasers, medical kit to go as well, as a treat a specialised Mark twelve Phaser Rifle with the same grade of customary armoury suit to go with it as morning shopping.

Then later surprise her with a trip to mars utopia Planitia fleet yards, as you see her ship finished out being constructed, if it’s a Galaxy Class retrofit, the two off you could spend endless times together tweaking her ship out, and spending restful times on adventuring on many holonovels on deck eleven, then having picnics on deck 14 watching the cetaceans swimming around in the tank. Then later on you both could stroll down to the main shuttle on deck four and tweak on off the Roundabouts or the Captain’s yacht, then later either a trip to Risa or at San Fransico, Starfleet Academy and visit all the faculties.

Then later could take her ship out for a maiden voyage then to visit some vintage stations like K-7, Jupiter Station first and some others along the way. Then if you both go on a hiking along Yosemite national park, just to find the camping spot where Captain James T. Kirk, Dr McCoy, and Spock sang, and have Marshmallows over a campfire, and if you injured yourself along the way, you girlfriend could treat you from the medical kit that you gave her.

britomart district

Lately early mid last year there’s been pretty much of change in the progressively redevelopment of the Britomart district, which is locate in downtown Auckland right behind the central major surface train and bus station.   The place as I remembered it from its interesting past was a derelict useable bus station hub, with a multi levelling  carpark, and it was a place that you could see a scene that, where it get regular visits from Gene Hunt, with Manchester police department looking into it.

Britomart changed progressively throughout the two decades, form to derelict district part of Auckland downtown history to a now a fashionable trendsetting place to working offices hub to be in. It has various placements of activities to regenerate. Also it’s a place to be to escaping from work during the day, unless escaping to the other side of downtown North wharf, with the open spaces with the salted Hauraki pacific oceanic breeze.

Britomart itself offers many endless options of what to do to escape from work.  It has a collection of fashionable apparel stores, excellent eateries outlets, and the bohemian acquired Farmers market, in which previously they were held at the Aotea Square on Fridays afternoon.   Now there are held here at the Britomart every Saturday mornings, at Gore Street between the hours of eight thirty in the morning till twelve thirty in the afternoon.

As to the fashionable store, most have come from another district of Auckland Central not too far from another fashionable district High Street O’Connell Street, also Chancery, the reason why of the move is the current rental rates have risen, that they decide to relocate to a progressively fresh new district where it’s more accessible to their customers to shop, given nearby Carpark, also public transport between trains and buses. Also the place is booming with activities given that there’s also another advantage is now a place where seafaring tourist can, shop closely, than walking another few hundred meters away.

Most of the fashion houses relocate are some of my favourite inspiring designers of many, Kate Sylvester, Karen Walker, madestore, also Zambesi. Plus there are many stores, that have located there just before the Britomart District have founded during at the time of the preparing of the Rugby world cup, was some now established store like Yoobee, an Apple store, which caters to creativeness from design, music, media to photography plus the staff are great after purchasing from them many times..    The District itself offers many more such as Restaurant and Bars, Galleries also Heath and beauty outlets.

Oh, if you decide to escape out from your office it’s best to have a three dimensional cardboard standee of you just in case…
