LOCKHEED MARTIN | Directed energy defense- moving into the early 21st century…….

As defense systems moves towards away from the traditional Kinetic defense systems towards more of a cost effective platform… “Lockheed Martin” has been developing that next step evolution of defensive systems to cut cost on manufacturing physical Kinetic munitions… they been developing throughout the last forty years of direct energy platforms by complying laser beam incorporating a spectral systems …

With this in mind it does create first to call a direct defense system in which can be used in various situations of defending threats towards a ship, or a city a spacecraft in space or in an aerial combat field as it provides a instance accuracy as long there’s an ample of power to provide to fuel the direct energy defense systems with minimal time to waste…   as technology improves it could be used in a hand held version like in Star Trek like in Phasers in which is cost effective..

STAR TREK ONLINE – Follow the white rabbit.

Just entered the Briar Patch in the Kassase sector,  after receiving reports and intel of rumors Klingon activity, of constructing a new form of weapon, and holding scientist as hostages whom are force to work on somewhere in this massive murky nebula.

After entering there been noticeable a large fields Metreon gas paddocks in the Briar Patch , which could be set off by any phaser fire or torpedo detonation could set of a major explosions within the patch in which could comprise the ship’s shields and hull.

One thing that I have notice traveling through the patch it slowed the ship moment right down, especially when going at full impulse, and also dangerous itself as when the Enterprise E when through during the Baku incident which lead to the death of  Commander Data.  traveling through meant the negotiatons of modifying the ship’s power management  ratings in between defense to velocity.

At first detonation the various placed Metreon gas fields, would do Klingon more damage, but it had the opposite effect it comprise my ship’s shields and hull,  creating more easy hull breaches during combat, and having to re spawn a few times. Even though I’ve just upgraded the ship few days ago.

Having destroyed mostly the objectives, naming various of heavy Klingon’s mobile cannon plaforms that gaurdly protects the path to the weapons installation. Noticing in the  field ship’s long range senors gets cofused therefore making our way closer slowly to scan closely delicately to check whether it’s a gaseous patch, or a weapons plaform.

Having reach the installation, lies a Klingon K’tinga class patrolling.  At first when battling in this case, I’ve noticed that keeping you distance relativity away from the installation, reason why the K’tinga will draw the environment to it’s advantage, the gases, drawing you in closer to the installation, which you be fired apond by the installations cannons. While the batting occurs, the environment itself will over heat your engines and drain most of the power ratings away from you vital systems leaving you in needing more power to drive the phasers and firing torpedos cycles.

After and intensive long battle, patiences is well worth it! The next objective is to seriously gear up, serious on body armour. Beaming onboard the installation, starting to  rescue the hostages whom are working on the secret weapon. Along the way the rescue effort is interrupted by Klingons whom barrack your away team and you in a lock phaser combat fire in the Klingon décor interior passage ways to the rescue.

Freeing the hostages is interesting at first I presume there were many to free, but turns out there were only a few in this effort. Later onwards the away team and I starting to picking up several raiding items like medical supplements by unlocking several containers along the way. This large hall as we proceeded contained some sort of torpedo like warheads manufacturing that they’re working on. The next thing we did is to place charges on all four warheads and then trying to upload the information from the main computer console, which is in front of the hall.

In terms of combat, I would say gear up seriously, and some times the use of hand combat is recommended, just in case your in close quarters of a fist full of dancing punching tango.

The away team and I proceed to make way back to first entry point where we transported to in the first instances that the transporters can’t seem to reach us where we are in depth of the   rocky astroid base, so going back where it’s more above the surface where the transporters work.

It seems along the way unexpected of encountering that the doors also the corridors have been lock by the Klingon commander.  The only way out is to blast through the doors with a full blast with very much haste. After making way to the first place of instance, transporting back to the ship. There was one last thing that need to be done is to stop the Klingon Commander from escaping in a Raptor class.

This time, combat was a little slower and tricky due to knowing the environment.  Eventually it was slowing the ship down transferring the power ratings to shields, weapons plus crew they the most important.  After a few combatant dances the Raptor ended it’s plan escape, and the mission was done. Making away out from the Biriar patch slowly to warp out from the sector heading  back to Earth Space Dock for ship repairs other modifications, later in Club 47 with the away team for much earn rest.

STAR TREK ONLINE | Ensign’s log part one

Starting out after getting on top of the training assignment. Your first take fighting out in a heavy starship, fighting the fight Borg, in a phaser fight. figuring out how to operate a medical tricorder to determine to figure out what the injured needed. you make you way to the engineering section where’s there is a firefight between the Borg and the crew. there’s a few option fight the fight, and gain even more phaser firing experience within the tactical weapons buttons of between the keyboard numbers of 1, which set to kill, 2, set to stun, 3 a fist fight action is going on.

In all doubts with the Borg, chose key number one, never question the Borg to get some friendly answers, other wise it gets friendly with you to for assimilation.

After making the way through to the transporter room, you be granted your first officer by either selecting the officers best traits, or just the extremely good looks you’ll see either it’s either a Female or male officer you had in mind?

With the good looks in mind comes the fun part which, you could modify there looks and physical attributes, clothing attire in every manner? Interesting take you time. Interested?

later that you transport with your selected cadet and your real missions and assignments starts on earth in receiving your first ship. which isn’t to bad after giving a standard one at start, you begin to explore what you could make out of modifying a Marinda Class Starship, the ones that seen on Star Trek the Wrath of Khan the USS Reliant, mostly seen on The Next Generation, Deep space nine, Voyager and the you may see the older version of it on JJ Abrams the ones with the two engineering hulls.

This is where the real fun gets, modifying your first Starship, beside of modifying your Avatar and your bridge crew’s good looks, physical attributes, and attire. also when you earn enough credits, and Atari tokens you could definite go shopping.

before you head off to the modifying you first Starship, there a few visit along the way, to the Admirals office in getting yourself some assignments, and that earn points along the way and getting another crew member as a reward, or others such as skill upgrades which could increase of getting more of a larger ship later on.

There’s one thing I’ve learned after Battling out in Star Trek Bridge Commander is to get you ship inside out and stick to ones that you know best also adventure a little bit more on other classes and vessels types which could provide an advantage later on.

Here’s the second fun part, besides of creating you Avatar, and crew modifying.

when you earn enough credits and skill upgrades this what else you could do!

Questions is what is your Avatar, crew, and ship design like?

STAR TREK ONLINE – the chronicles

Produce by Cryptic studios, and Atari.com

This is one of the MMO’s | Massive Multiplayer Online I’ve just got back into, after several months of not playing online in the trek universe. Coming back to it feels like twenty years have passed, after downloading a massive patch upgrade, and including the Foundry which you could create and share your adventures with the others which makes the game even more interesting.

One good thing is that even though it’s been several months ago, after re subscribing, it places me in back in the same mission assignment where I’ve left off.

At first when started it gives you a moderate short duration of time where you could trail it out of thirty days game time, after that it’s either getting time cards or subscribing time. After then it’s onwards sorting out you details online then creating you avatar, once done delicately first. Once done, you get to go on away mission to defend a starship in which is the training you get to do to familiar your self with the surroundings.

At first you’ll get a few orders of what do, primary it’s defend the ship which has being Borg infested. You’ll go Fighting the fight, of just using a hand-held Phaser Pistol, tricorder, and go fight the fight, go saving your crew mates and collecting items on the way and sell, trade, and exchange later on get any further upgrades. Later on you’ll get you first officer, whom you have to decide and customised them, then later its your first ship, at first I though you could pick any class of ships in the fleet, but as a Ensign that’s not the case. Like most of MMO’s you have to work, earn your items from the ground up. Star Trek Bridge Commander where you could pick and choose the class that you favour the most.

Within Star Trek Online MMO there are various upgrades where you could upgrade you ship has each passing successive rank is place, by mission earned, where you collect items along the way either in battle, or analyzing some items along the way. It a bit like WOW | War Of Warcraft, where you could group up and team up with a team, or knowing with a Guild to get co-operative shared scores and items along the way, and also they will help you out also with gaming hints.

Best thing is to know you hot keys, on you keyboard and the layout of you HUD | Heads Up Display plus you could modified the layout of HUD , this in mind will give you a definite advantage over the others, and onwards later will increase your skills as I found out after getting back, now I’m combatting like I’m still on Star Trek Bridge Commander.

Given this in mind is to get to know your crew what they can do and what they need to be nurture on, there’s a officers career chart which show the progression of each rank earned. with each skill up, there’s also a much larger class of ship earned to command .

First chronicle.

When I started out, it was exploration to see how this MMO would work, it seems back in the days late nights in the mornings of gaming Dungeons and Dragons the old school. had a few fights with the Klingon, ambushed with Klingon Birds of Prey, and combatting with much larger vessels, getting spawning at most of the time and this goes with away missions too, this was a learning situation also figuring, learning out the certain ways of creating an advantage. also you get to help out others whom are in need of help, in some cases helping out could lead the one whom needed help started to ditch you and left them with theirs, now your problem, to fight the fight. For larger complex missions, it’s good to team up, to increase your odds, rather than going in as one. another thing is always to read your map, which is given in the package, it’ll stop you from getting lost!
