The image of the Zhongtianwen-1 landing platform, the “Zhurong” rover and the surrounding area are clearly visible.

The image was taken at 18:00 on June 2 by the high-resolution camera of Tianwen-1 surround. After landing, there are two obvious bright spots in the upper right corner of the image. The upper bright spot is composed of two bright spots. The larger bright spot is the Tianwen-1 landing platform, and the smaller bright spot is the “Zhurong” rover. With the bright spot of the landing platform as the center, the surrounding area is darker. According to analysis, it may be caused by the engine plume during the landing. There are symmetrical jet-like bright stripes in the north-south direction of the landing platform, which may be formed by blowing off fine dust when the landing platform is passivated after landing. The bright spot in the middle of the image is the combination of the back cover and the parachute thrown away during the landing on Mars, in which the back cover is a round bright spot, and the parachute is a long strip of bright spot. In the lower left direction of the image, there is another obvious bright spot, which is a heat-proof outsole thrown away during the landing.

As of today, the “Zhu Rong” rover has been working on the surface of Mars for 24 Martian days, carrying out environmental perception, fire surface movement, and scientific exploration. All scientific load equipment has been activated to obtain scientific data. The orbiter runs in a relay orbit with a period of 8.2 hours and provides relay communication for the scientific exploration of the Mars rover.

2021年6月7日,国家航天局发布我国首次火星探测天问一号任务着陆区域高分影像图。图像中天问一号着陆平台、“祝融号”火星车及周边区域情况清晰可见。 

影像图由天问一号环绕器高分辨率相机于6月2日18时拍摄。着陆后图像右上角有两处明显亮斑,靠上的亮斑由两个亮点组成,较大亮点为天问一号着陆平台,较小亮点为“祝融号”火星车。以着陆平台亮点为中心,周围区域颜色较暗,据分析,可能是降落过程中受到发动机羽流影响造成。着陆平台南北方向,存在对称的喷射状亮条纹,可能是着陆后着陆平台钝化时吹除了较细的尘埃形成。图像中部亮斑为降落火星过程中抛离的背罩及降落伞组合体,其中背罩为圆形亮点,降落伞为长条状亮点。图像左下方向,存在另外一处明显的亮斑,为降落过程中抛离的防热大底。 

截至今天,“祝融号”火星车在火星表面已工作24个火星日,开展环境感知、火面移动、科学探测,所有科学载荷设备均已开机工作,获取科学数据。环绕器运行在周期8.2小时的中继轨道,为火星车科学探测提供中继通信。

The Fengyun-4B star was developed by the Eighth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group. It has a launch weight of 5400 kg and a design life of 7 years. The Fengyun-4A satellite is my country’s first second-generation geostationary meteorological satellite, which is a scientific experimental satellite. The FY-4B satellite is the second satellite in the FY-4 series and the first operational satellite in the series. Based on the FY-4A star, the FY-4B star’s ability to observe this aspect flexibly has been greatly improved.


“The design life of the Fengyun-4 A star is 7 years, and the assessment life is 5 years. The assessment life will expire at the end of this year, but from the current overall situation, the star is expected to continue to work normally for 7 years or more, and the B star will go up. Later, it will form a situation of double star observation in orbit with Star A.” said Chen Qiang, the overall chief designer of Fengyun 4 B Star. According to reports, in the earliest period, the Fengyun 2 can achieve one picture per hour, and then gradually realize one picture for half an hour. When the Fengyun 4A satellite is reached, the image of the entire China area can be updated every 5 minutes. Now with two satellites, you can see two pictures in 5 minutes. “The weather forecast process is very complicated and involves many factors. Satellites play a major role in providing data. The FY-4 A and B satellite networks will generate more, more accurate, and faster updated data. 【FY-4B Star】FY-4B is the second satellite in the FY-4 series. It has a launch weight of 5400 kg and a design life of 7 years.
