A while back in 2008, when I was walking along the sunset Californian pavement of 3rd promenade, walking alongside the Santa Monica Apple Store, in wondering should I get the screenplay writing software Final Draft from the Apple Store that I’ve seen earlier that morning ,  on that Wednesday afternoon, almost evening in where..  I noticing someone dancing with crazy cool random dance moves, in which she was swinging her arms, in which she had long Californian blonde hair, she was swing random crazy Dance moves… while she was recording with her Cannon Camera.. With some serious Tunes.. Dancing like Taylor Swift in later in the early December she joined Twitter …

It was only a month within, till I only found out whom was the dancing blonde was, it was iJustine, Justine Ezarik,  you tuber, gamer, tech gadget reviewer, whom as the traditionally occasionally dances in the Apple stores, when it invitingly meets her….

As I was walking from the Star Ferry terminal from Victoria Harbour wharf, in trying to relate, retracing Ruby and Josh’s walking steps, as previously thinking working from somewhere from central… As to walking towards, the catwalk towards Central, towards the IFC Building, with the blue industrial triangle structural frame….  As I was walking towards the IFC building, in which on my left is the Ferris wheel,  also on my there it is it’s one of the Largest Apple Stores, seen as I view on my right hand side, is the second Apple store I’ve seen.. In which as I heard there are six Apple stores in Hong Kong. IFC- Mall-Central,  New Town Plaza- Sha Tin, Festival Walk-Kowloon, APM Hong Kong-Kwun Tong, Canton Road- Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay-Causeway Bay The one that I was looking at was the one in central… As to looking at the IFC- Central one, it’s larger than the Santa Monica one even though with renovations that was done with it in recent years with its open glass plains… Giving its spacious iconic apple interior / exterior signature glass, inwardly invitation of lots of light in which the same approach was done with the six Apple Stores in Hong Kong…..

Looking around, noticing, heard, that there are lots of people in surrounding the store in, attempt to purchasing your phone in which those whom are in with suitcases, that platoon surrounding the store.. in which if you can’t get it yet, just wait in best, unless you’re desperate for the latest edition you maybe purchasing the reselling price for slightly higher than the store price, also buyers beware also if you folly such endeavors..

As I arrived inside walking up, those stairs, it there was still lines of people still awaiting for the pre-ordering purchasing items from the store, as all new products goes when it’s launching day, week, there’s always a line.. Even when newly established brands as seen in Top Shop New Zealand in Central Auckland.. that Awaiting lines was very  patience  lengthy..As I return back to 2008, I eventually purchased that Screenwriters software in the later of that evening..

“What ….It’s only in between 2.80 to 3.40 Hong Kong Dollars on the Star Ferry between Tsim Sha Tsui to Central.. Awesome…!”

Having watching out for the Star Ferry terminal signs in which are written in Traditional Chinese also in English, in which most of the Street signs in Hong Kong with moderately modestly display with black fonts with a with background……….  Then Finding the terminal in which departs towards Central on Hong Kong Island is walking towards to right hand side of the center corridor in which is noticeable with the tea shop, with the cute various Chinese traditional teapots… in which nearby before then the “Discover Hong Kong” was helpful in getting the right maps, also getting to reconnect with the place…. One thing I did notice is to best to ask a lot of questions, in which I did… in reconnecting with the place..

Having walking up the flight of those nostalgic, those very nostalgic stairs in which leads towards the terminal waiting room… looking onwards to the thinking back… to another exit gateway below… Seeing, thinking of the couple whom meet up at that faithful night, Ruby and Josh walking towards the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, catching up from all those years from a point in Lan Kwai Fong, on how he was inspired by her of going in writing his novel, then also as she found herself adventuring in becoming an expat, in finding herself, working in Hong Kong as a Chief Designer for toys.. Walking towards with that Grown up ever so changing city neonic city landscape…

As I watching that Gateway as they left those two behind, it was morning thinking, inspiring of those two.. as I walked up that terminal, seeing the place aged transitioning from my childhood years slightly fresh with those bold whites, hospital mint greens, towards the late 1989’s where the place is noticeable worn, then now walking back retracing those steps, seeming finding that sense of nostalgic aroma, back reconnecting.. as in the distance there’s something new, an Octopus entry terminal, with the harbor watery smell from a busy Victoria harbor.. Looking at one of the iconic views through the Deco style window picture framing individual of each view of Hong Kong Island, from the eastern towards the western side of the Island… With those plastic well-kept form sixty chairs like they been there seventies…

As I approached, the semi-circular room terminal, as I sat down on those retro plastic seats, awaiting for my passage for the ferry ride towards Victoria Harbour, in which, I then later onwards standing up, to examining recollecting, reconnecting of looking back.. That terminal room, looking at the through the deco style window frames, as the picture ever so constantly changes timelessly… As the harbor waves hit the Tsim Sha Tsui pier arithmetically rhythmically… Looking at the late morning city cape of Hong Kong island, thinking back at Ruby and Josh what have they been doing together before they reconnected,  Thinking of that Ruby just finished of doing work at her office as well Josh, just taking a break on his novel writing. While taking the island view in while photographing the view through the windows..

As I turn from looking at the rectangle timeless pictured frames that painted Hong Kong Island ever-changing of Hong Kong Island to a view of looking down at the terminal, north wise to east thinking of also of someone as well, of the same Ruby coloured name.

As I turn backwards to the view of Hong Kong, frame by window frame, in that semi-circular waiting room looking ahead as the inbound ferry starts to berth of loading the passengers from Victoria Harbour, noticing that the place haven’t changed since, only with, with a few slight modifications along the way with some well maintain structures, paint work with TVB broadcasting news with insider TV in the background on that flat screen panel TV..  Still retaining that nostalgic feel all those years ago…

As the gates terminal gates open up to board on the ferry, I look back to where Ruby and Josh, also towards walking down to the plank entering on board the ferry, then finding that seating with those old school sitting benches along the either side of the ferry, then looking at where Ruby was standing with Josh Catching up all those years.. Then onwards to Victoria Harbour…

“…..DAY TWO… intriguing adventuring recreating walks… also it’s been a while on a Star Ferry ……”

There’s this scene in “its Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong” on the Star Ferry as it transits from Hong Kong Island, from Victoria Harbour terminal towards Tsim Sha Tsui…  Where an expat whom reading lost into middle of a novel, in the middle front of an old colonial style  Star Ferry, then takes his eyes from the book that he’s reading,  to the view of the Hong Kong night city scene until he see someone in the close distance,  in that close distance he knew only recent years ago, from that he walks towards to her, making sure it’s that American Chinese girl with her long black hair pony tailed wearing that red silk blouse, with black skirt, , whom recently arrived lost in Lan Kwai Fong long time ago that he met…walking up to her.. Finding it’s her as they reconnected their moments back years ago… “Ruby…!”

That’s also my reconnection, as walk downwards towards Tsim Sha Tsui Star ferry terminal, Orthough not meeting up with Ruby- Jamie Chung Orthough like too with Josh –Bryan Greenberg, in getting to know more of that scene.. Looking at that reconnection with that scene in finding where point in scene is where he sat, also where she stood looking outwardly into the Hong Kong Island night life filled with that city neonic landscape…  But seeing that scene unraveling backwards as I walked to the Ferry Terminal,  in which finding that terminal, is relatively easily to find with that nostalgic feel as I walk towards the terminal, along the finding the bus terminal that interconnects in between the local various neighborhoods in Hong Kong..

Walking towards the terminal, looking at the classical timeless blue space age, space station construction beams that seen from by childhood they were freshly painted, as now the place is now seeming has shown it well truly age… You can see the place changed in the progression of time from its World War Two construction, as I walked under its 1960’s space age framed type much needing painted roofing… noticing the pavement hasn’t really changed much from my childhood years, with only finding it matured age fully with worn out gracefully smoothed as it been constantly walked throughout time..
