When I first look at this vessel today or night, looking at the Tempest, then looking at the overall consoles and the overall feel of how it worked, finding it was an intriguing ship to have but, it could be spelled out on the consoles on engineering and science in which, I was amaze how least, it was in compare to the Maelstrom escort class.  orthough I’ve been warned from reading the post on the Tempest class on how it offered the console abilities of having a Nadion Saturation Bomb, in which it causes massive arrays of damage creating a ropes of explosive fire like a cluster bombing  in one wide angled direction.. With those series of denotations effecting the other ships in combat..

Having trying it out briefly in the encounter zones, I’ve realize this ship class was the ship class before I’ve had the Heavy Tactical Escort, like the Akria, the Thunderchild, and the Armitage Class. Orthough smaller and larger than the USS Defiant. It moves pretty swiftly as you close in range with full cannons in front, with turrets at the rear weapons bay, with a good spread of torpedoes to do some serious kinetic damage, but making sure that you keep in mind of your forwarding shields has they could be easily weaken if you leave your attack position to long..

There’s something interesting in the rear its auto firing canon that’s is seated install permanently in the tail section, with its ninety degree firing range in which is closely similar to the Thunder Child Universal Point Defense system console but very limited firing angled range..

Given that the Tempest class is a Blockade and Patrol escort it can do some serious damage as given if you get the fleet version of the Blockade Escort, then savaging the Tempest then having the tempest hulling look and customizing the look by shorting the length of the hull, in which will give you a fair advantage in getting that turn rate to rotate your shields and then folly again quickly..

Looking at the Tempest class, makes an interesting ship as a vessel tactical abilities akiness just to the advanced, blockade escorts then to the heavy escort and it’s carrier variant and the Galaxy Dreadnought… As it’s more geared to Engineering and Tactical, but having more of those consoles bridge stations…  with that that in mind it you get in there quick do some serious damage then move on to the next…

STAR TREK ONLINE | the newly awaited soon earth space dock.

Last night I decide to see the tribble test server.  After hearing and watching Brent Justice walk through on what changes that there are going in the renovations of Earth Space Dock.  Once arrived I on the transporter pad, and amaze of the complete renovations…. For season nine in the coming month of April..  as explain by this clip by Brent Justice- just gaming 4 us..

There’s many things that’ve I like is the completely seamless flow of walking and exploring around the new environment,  that it’s almost one levelled in with many indented levels bellows.. In which is good of instead of loading up into another map level when heading into turbo lift seeing Ensign Obin and Lieutenant Laurel in the shipyard..  You can go directly to them making it easier to get to those two..

The interior space is pretty awesome It’s some open plan environment that you could make it has a make shift fleet base for your friends, given that it has the facilities to do so, like a conference halls,  the typical ship yard with the very pleasant staff like lieutenant Laurel whom will help you to select your new  standard Starship..  Waiting for your mission customisation…

On the other side of Admiral Quinn’s office besides missing a fish tank of fishes to Zen himself of after a stressful day at work…  is looking outside to earth with a beautiful view to Earth and several Starships at drydock…  around here near the massive of the panels of window view is the what was the central area that was in the current Earth space dock..

There’s one thing good it’s bright lighting.. In a way that’s good as the more floral plants situation around ponds.. With this in mind it kinda feels like the retrofit constitution class Botanical section in   the engineering hull  on a larger scale as if was a giant mega mall..

STAR TREK ONLINE | revisiting the Galaxy Dreadnought class…

On United States time on sixth march 2014, there’s great news for whom been waiting for the improvements with the Galaxy class and it’s variants on that day…  But there’s one ship class that awaited the attention is the Galaxy Dreadnought…  at first I was looking at the advance Dyson ship class but the revisitment had me going back to old school….

Having three warp nacelles, and a massive Gudam type Phaser Lance… which sits below the saucer section and the neck… and measuring length wise of 641 meters long… with the new improvements it has new:

  • New bridge officers seating in which the Ensign tactical seat becomes a universal seating..
  • Finally it gets the Galaxy class treatment with the Saucer separation support… or though it does come with that console in which you could translated separation console from a tier five exploration       Cruiser retrofit…  in which give you more of added advantage akin to the same with the full Odyssey ship set..  But with dual Phaser Cannons and it’s small Phaser lance…
  •  As to with the Aquarius escort on the Odyssey class, the Galaxy Dreadnought gets its own one hanger bay… in which you could outfit with any shuttles after modifying.. in which gives you in guessing added advantage.. In very much akiness to the Armitage carrier class..
  • As for the Phaser Lance Wide Beam…. It’s an impressive weapon akin to the Vesta Variant’s Quantum Field Focus Phaser… but during the saucer separation it has a destructive wide beam like shot gun effect only at close range to be effective.. so it’s a hit, run and reload..

Given its bonus of the utilizing.. the Antimatter spread and saucer separations will give you a add advantage of increasing your Starship hull plating and armouring reinforcement skills  your maneuvering  will increase..

With this in mind should be interesting to see the Tier four Fleet Variant of the Galaxy Dreadnought..  this should be interesting to compare to the Fleet variants of the Armitage and the Avenger Destroyer class…. To see how they operate..
