Located in 30 Shuangqing Rd, 蓝旗营 Haidian District, Beijing, China – People’s Republic of China Tsinghua University is a major public research university in Beijing, and a member of the C9 League. It is also a member of Double First Class University globally..

On 24th January 2022 Monday it was the launching test maiden launching of the Tsinghua University “Tianxing” testing articles series of  test rockets On the morning of January 24, 2022, the team of Professor Wang Bing from the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Tsinghua University conducted a flight demonstration test of a new engine independently developed. The successful ignition and stable work test within the altitude and speed range was a complete success!

The test shows that my country- China – People’s Republic of China has mastered the independent research and development and engineering realization capabilities of the new engine, and ranks among the top in the world in the field of new aerospace power!

At 11:30 in the morning, the test mission was carried out by the “Qinghang·Daxing” two-stage rocket. After the first-stage rocket is separated, the second-stage rocket pushes the mission stage engines to a predetermined altitude and speed. The engine air intake achieves efficient air intake, the fuel supply system sprays aviation kerosene into the combustion chamber, the ignition system starts smoothly, the combustion chamber and the engine work stably, and continuous thrust is obtained. The test was a complete success.

“Through this flight mission, we have obtained the influence of the changes of working environment parameters on the operating characteristics of the engine combustion chamber under real flight conditions, fully tested the real working characteristics of the engine, and verified the feasibility of the existing technical route, which is a new technology. Moving towards engineering and productization, it provides important test data and accumulates real flight experience. This achievement will further enrich the map of my country’s aerospace industry and has great strategic significance in terms of new power.” Wang Bing said.

Aggregating maximum energy in the shortest possible time, realizing a major leap from ground test to real flight test, and promoting the process of practical engineering application, it also fully benefits from the effective attempt to transfer and transform scientific and technological achievements. The flight test mission was named “Qinghang No. 1”. The overall scientific mission and test plan was independently proposed by the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Tsinghua University. Wang Bing led the Spray Combustion and Propulsion Laboratory to be responsible for the overall engine design. Tian (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. has completed the overall manufacture and assembly of the engine, and has completely independent intellectual property rights. Beijing Lingkong Skyxing Technology Co., Ltd. is responsible for the design of the flight vehicle and the implementation of the mission. The two parties work closely together to jointly promote the smooth progress of the flight test.

The new engine flight demonstration verification test of the Spray Combustion and Propulsion Laboratory of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Tsinghua University was a complete success. The test shows that my country has mastered the independent research and development and engineering realization capabilities of the new engine, and ranks among the world’s forefront in the field of new aerospace power.

On the 27th November  2021 Saturday  in  CNSA _China National Space Administration -China – People’s Republic of China At 0040 morning hours Hong Kong –Beijing Time on an. China successfully launched Satellites using the Chang Zheng Long March 3B carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center Sichuan Province launching from station two The satellite successfully entered the scheduled orbit and the launch mission was a complete success. This mission is the 399th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets…..

in which during the time of the launch many of the surrounding residents of Xichang Satellite Launch Center came to watch the launch as it pasting midnight to the early hours of the Saturday Morning also from nearby and afar to vlog and rocket photography .

The Zhongxing 1D satellite was developed by the General Department of Communications and Navigation Satellites of the Fifth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group, which can provide users with high-quality voice, data, broadcast and television transmission services.

The all new advancements of the Chang Zheng – Long March 3B  of which there are two improvements of the series Type III Yao 79  Carrier Rocket used for the launch of the Zhongxing 1D satellite uses a 4200F fairing with a diameter of 4.2 meters. The total length of the rocket in this state is over 56 meters, and the take-off mass of the full rocket is about 456 tons.
In this mission, the Changsan B rocket has two new improvements:

1) In view of the remarkable characteristics of the high-altitude wind in Xichang in winter, the quasi-real-time two-way wind correction technology of the “East-fire direction two-way wind compensation” method is adopted for the first time to reduce the high altitude. The impact of wind on launch release conditions and flight reliability improves the rocket’s ability to adapt to the launch window.

2) Apply the new flight control scheme to further enhance the adaptability of the rocket during flight. It will be promoted and applied in other configurations of the Chang Zheng – Long March Carrier Rocket series rocket in the future

This launch is the 10th mission of the Long March 3A series carrier rockets this year, with 10 battles and 10 victories. It is expected that there will be two more launch missions in the future.

Planning for Beijing Interstellar Glory Space Technology Co., Ltd. is expected to conduct a “Grasshopper Test” similar to SpaceX in 2021, using a reusable engine independently developed by Interstellar Glory to conduct a sub-class 100-kilometer vertical take-off and landing test. Test to verify the performance of the entire one- carrier rocket recovery. Among them are two key technologies: the variable thrust technology of the liquid oxygen methane engine and the re-entry recovery navigation guidance and control technology. In the second half of 2021, Interstellar Glory will execute the first launch of the Hyperbolic II small liquid oxygen methane-powered reusable launch vehicle into orbit and recycle one sub-stage……

Introducing the Hyperbola III successfully passed the review of the transition to the program demonstration Recently, Interstellar Glory organized a review meeting for the overall program demonstration of the Hyperbola III (code-named “SQX-3”) liquid carrier rocket. The review expert group gave the technical proposal It was fully affirmed, and unanimously passed the review of the transfer of the SQX-3 liquid carrier vehicle overall program demonstration, marking the official transition of the SQX-3 liquid carrier rocket from the overall program demonstration stage to the model development stage. The SQX-3 series of liquid carrier rockets, as medium and large liquid carrier rockets of Interstellar Glory, are currently known domestically planned reusable liquid carrier rockets with the largest diameter, the strongest carrying capacity, and the lowest launch price per kilogram of payload. The main model for launching missions in the launch market will help further enhance the service capabilities of domestic commercial launch vehicles.

The SQX-3 series liquid launch vehicle includes three configurations: SQX-3 basic type, SQX-3A (two-core stage in parallel), and SQX-3B (three-core stage in parallel). The carrying capacity can meet the needs of a variety of load tasks. In addition to meeting large-scale satellite networking, medium and large satellite launch tasks, it also has the capabilities of space station transportation and deep space exploration. SQX-3 inherits the SQX-2 first-stage vertical recovery technology (VTVL), and improves the rocket body diameter and engine thrust to make the carrying capacity reach the scale of a medium-sized launch vehicle; through two-core parallel and three-core parallel , So that the carrying capacity can reach the scale of a large-scale launch vehicle.

The basic model of SQX-3 is a two-stage tandem layout, with a body diameter of 4.2m, a total length of 68m, and a take-off mass of 490t. The first sub-stage is the general core stage, which uses 9 Focus 2 (code-named “JD-2”, sea level thrust 85t) liquid oxygen methane engines in parallel layout, which can be landed vertically on land recovery sites and offshore recovery platforms, with return Field recovery and off-line recovery capabilities; a JD-2 engine vacuum version (vacuum thrust 104t level) is installed in the second stage, which can achieve multiple ignitions, so that the load can be put into orbit in a variety of flight modes, and the use of it is flexible. After the SQX-3 series of liquid carrier rockets complete the program transition, Interstellar Honor will accelerate the pace of rocket development and quickly enter the launch market after completing its first flight in June 2024.
