Located in the Heart of Hong Kong central of Victoria Harbour in which locate looking at the iconic Megatroplis HongKong Island city landscape from the opposite is the Hong Kong Space Museum  香港太空館 in which located at 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong SAR, China –People’s Republic of China..  in which is one of the most international iconic buildings architecturally due to its hemispheric round dome in which is iconic known as one of Hong Kong’s local most cherish bread pastries the Pineapple Bun.. in which the Hong Kong Space Museum is Sharing an Museum event session Participating in the “Youth Takionaut Experience Camp” is a rare learning experience. Students can not only learn about space science and aerospace technology, but also experience the hard training of astronauts and meet and communicate with national astronauts. In order to let the public know more about astronaut training, the Hong Kong Space Museum is now arranging a sharing session.

To cultivate the interest in astronomy and space science among the youth generation in Hong Kong as well as enhance their understanding about the development and achievements of space technology in China, the Hong Kong Space Museum has organised the “Young Takionaut Training Camp” since 2009 to select thirty local secondary school students every year to undergo astronaut training programme in Beijing and Jiuquan etc. “Young Takionaut Training Camp” is jointly presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, the China Astronaut Research and Training Center and the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. This activity is sponsored by the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, and associated with Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Centre.

Since 2009, the Hong Kong Space Museum has been in charge of coordinating the “Young Takionaut Experience Camp”. So far, more than 300 local secondary school students have participated in the astronaut experience course in Beijing Aerospace City, and visited important astronomical and aerospace facilities in China to learn about China’s aerospace industry. 香港太空館自2009年起負責統籌「少年太空人體驗營」，至今已讓超過300名本港中學生親身於北京航天城內參加太空人體驗課程，並參觀國內重要的天文及航天設施，認識中國航天科技的發展。

參加「少年太空人體驗營」是一項難得的學習經歷，學員不僅能學習太空科學和航天科技知識，還能親身體驗太空人的刻苦訓練及與國家航天員會面交流。為了讓公眾對於太空人訓練有更多認識，香港太空館現安排一場分享會，由少年太空人體驗營的畢業營員現身說法，為大家介紹在營內的所見所聞。

On 25th September 2022 on 1500 towards 1600 Hong Kong SAR – Beijing Time, Sunday competition, naming and submission of proposal, and the 20 selected Exoplanetary systems…..When we look up in the sky, countless stars can be found shining in every corner. In the past, we only knew about the planets in our own solar system. Today, thanks to technology, the existence of extrasolar planets is well-proved. Now, we have the opportunity to name these exoworlds! The International Astronomical Union (IAU) has released 20 Exoplanetary systems to be named by the public around the world under its naming competition – NameExoWorlds 2022. In the 2019’s competition, a star system was named as Lionrock (host star HD 212771) and Victoria peak (exoplanet HD 212771b) by residents Hong Kong SAR –China, People’s Republic of China people.

To know more about the details of the competition, naming and submission of proposal, and the 20 selected Exoplanetary systems, you are welcome to join the “The NameExoWorlds 2022 Global Naming Competition – Announcement” in the Hong Kong Space Museum at the following time. The Hong Kong Space Museum  香港太空館 is a museum in  which is dedicated as museum for Astronomy and Space Sciences in which educating with  facilities of the museum are located in a building next to the planetarium, showcasing information about the Solar System, cosmology, and spaceflight……  holdings various types of astronomical exhibitions and lectures. It is also open to schools, groups and the public… in which it is opened on 1980 and managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government…. In which the construction only took three years to build starting of that construction is 1977… Opening on 8th October 1980..

Setting up the working platform two meters from the ground, so as to avoid the uneven ground structures, in which a Ten Meter Tall Aluminium Scaffoldings were need as the highest point of our Space Theatre is more than Ten Meters tall .. 421 Old Panels were taken down one by one…

Then here comes the installation of the new panels 428 in total panel, in which the new NanoSeam technology allows the panels to join together without seams, in with the last piece on, the replacement of panels was complete in which the new shows will be available from July .. ..  

In which with new shows in July 2021 with the new makeover – of the signature dome-shaped screen of the Hong Kong Space Museum’s Space Theatre took 14 months, and has been completed for re-opening on July 1, just in time for the summer. Using the latest NanoSeam technology, the new screen offers a seamless viewing experience, enabling sharper and more colourful images. New programmes on display include the sky show “Worlds Beyond Earth”, the Omnimax show “Ancient Caves” and the 3D dome show “Secrets of the Universe 3D”.

The Pineapple bun or the hemispheric dome is where the main planetarium is located in which today it has an advance digital planetarium system in placement where it’s now currently 2020 is undergoing a USD thirty million massive renovations interior and technologically planetarium wise as part of the stage two process in which the previous couple years it undergo a massive expansion of the main exhibition from one hundred to two hundred exhibits.. Hong Kong Space Museum has two thematic exhibition halls: the Hall of Space Science and the Hall of Astronomy on the ground and first floors respectively. The exhibits, predominantly interactive, enable visitors to learn through a series of entertaining and educational experiences…. Facilities wise the museum has two wings: east wing and west wing. The former consists of the nucleus of the museum’s planetarium, which has an egg-shaped dome structure. Beneath it are the Stanley Ho Space Theatre, the Hall of Space Science, workshops and offices. The west wing houses the Hall of Astronomy, the Lecture Hall, a gift shop and offices.

In which the Hong Kong Space Museum takes part in international grandstanding events also local events of many in which yearly annually partaking Hong Kong SAR Government educationally with partnerships on the selection for the Young Spaceman Experience Camp sponsored  a group of Hong Kong selected thirty junior high school students in becoming aspiring-inspiring   Taikonauts-Chinese Astronauts in which they got to experience of what life of an Taikonauts life is   Astronauts in an educational trip during the 2017 year.. in which during that year which INNOTECH 2017 in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, one of the most featured articles is the CNSA-Chinese National Space Admistraton and their important  work they do in which featured the guest speaker Wang Yaping: China’s second female astronaut whom made living history as part of the crew of the Shenzhou nine crew..  In which the Chinese Central government offer Hong Kong Students in the region to take part in the soon to be first upcoming civilian Taikonaut program….. Within the decade..
