As Weta workshop did the awesome spectacular for the Hobbit also the Lord of the Rings Trilogies in enriching the stories lines with immersive visual effects so to flesh out the story-lines of the vital scenes that play important aspects of the production.. So as the team at ILM – Light Industrial and Magic has done so on a massive experimental level… Pushing those visual effects boundaries so when you’ve watching the film itself you’ve in that world completely within partaking in those stories…..

“Warcraft” based on “Blizzard Entertainment’s world of Warcraft” in which takes you through one off the most popular MMORPG of many besides Star trek online and Star wars the old republic…..As Warcraft takes us into that world in between the Humans and the Orcs whom world is in desolation with famine and in need of further food and resources as theirs are exhausted to survive through not least that a few seasons.. As they begin one whom is alone Orc and his family is challenging that survival by force.. As they also tries to struggle to survive in the realm of Azeroth.. Also challenge by humans whom fear what the orc expansion onto their lands whether it’s for peace or an all-out war between the two civilizations…  It has many characters in Azeroth whom strives for many things..

 

STAR WARS – THE FORCE AWAKENS | creating that cute Droid BB-8, next to R2D2…!

As in The Force awakens, screened on 17th December 2015, in New Zealand.. With the introduction of the continuing storyline of the Skywalkers some 29 years ago in that intense battlement between the Rebellion and the remnants of what’s left of the Empire or both.. Ever since the demise of the Jedi Order..

Also “Star Wars-the Force Awakens” is the first time we see a new Droid BB-8.. Whom becomes one of the many protagonist as she or he, is on a mission akin like R2D2 with the plans of the various Death Stars designs that being built…. As Director and Writer JJ Abrams.. Watch the previous episodes of the Star Wars universe.. Abrams wanted BB-8 as real as possible like the ones in The New Hope- episode four.. When he watched Star wars for the very first time.. There were various designs of BB-8, but it came of a design drawn of a Napkin that Abrams drawn, like how the same design process when in Star Trek -First Contact… the Zefram Cochrane first warp ship was first sketch on the napkin inspired out from a Salt and pepper shaker … Then later with that concept drawings it was  leveling up the construction process of effects became as the lovable cute Co-Star that Rey- Daisy Ridley and Finn- John Boyega loves to work with…

BEHIND THE SCENES | Pacific Rim- 3D printing…

Here we have the one of the final battle scenes sequences between the dual human controlled giant robot Jaeger “Gypsy” and the Kajiu, in raining downtown Hong Kong street side in which was the very last part of the post and production of the movie done by Lucas Films | Industrial light an Magic.

In the composting there was miniature sets used in the film of the use of 3D printing, in order to accelerate  the modeling  and filming process,  as seen one the scenes that of the building floors in that fabrication with scale lighting of that very floor getting ready to be smash into by the Jaeger fist in a orderly scale outfitted with a green shape of a fist.   In the process of the production,  which the 3D printing was to create the scale sets of fourteen size work office cubicles, where in one of the elements printed was the workstation flat screen computer monitors, also workstations itself, and other elements done by 32Ten studios whom work on other projects such has Transformers movies Indiana Jones series plus many more..

BEHIND THE SCENE | Pacific Rim – industrial light and magic- ILM

Love this special effects composition of Pacific Rim from Industrial Light and Magic, how it’s final battle seen was done in darkness times in downtown coastal  barricades of Hong Kong one of the final end of line. In this premise where Earth was teething on been invaded by from another world through a wormhole a like portal locately in the Pacific… Whom the uninvited guest needs Earth for it various resources…

The work was done in between various cities in creating Guillermo del Toro’s movie which could topple the Transformers franchise, in that work shared between San Francisco, Singapore, also Vancouver in which I like to see a sequel, even though the story of creating the Jaegers to counter the Kajiu has finished.. But somehow   I guessingly there’s more…?

In this clip we see various methods in composing the each individual scene together… From wire frame to muscle flesh then to the clay modelling from the various Jaegers fighting monsters Kajiu from that throated connected other world   . Adding the to the mix the usage of green screen also with additional of multiple of layers of digital sets to tell the immersive story even more..
