Since successfully entering the space station complex on November 30, 2022, Beijing time, the crew of Shenzhou 15 has been working and living in orbit for 70 days, and has completed on-orbit rotations and scientific experiments with the crew of Shenzhou 14. The unlocking and testing of cabinets, the application of cargo out of the cabin, the patrol inspection of space station and manned spacecraft equipment, and the preparation of out-of-cabin activities have carried out on-orbit medical examinations, weightlessness protection exercises, and a series of space science experiments (tests). At the same time, they also spent the Spring Festival on the space station, and successively launched the second “Tiangong Painting Exhibition” and “Global Photography of Tiangong” photography exhibition, sending Chinese New Year blessings from space to the people of the whole country.

On the 17th November 2022 1116 Hours Hong Kong SAR – Beijing time CNSA –China National Space Administrationthe Tiangong –China Space Station Crew of Shenzhou 14 is going out for a third EVA Spacewalk, according to the CMS China Manned Space – China Manned Engineering office Beijing . The two Takionauts at presenting doing the EVA Commander Cheng Dong and fellow Takionaut Cai Xuzhe left from the core module…. All is feeling well. 

Great Earth perspective to see the crew of the Shenzhou 14 Takionauts successfully completed the third out-of-vehicle mission. After three space walks, the astronauts completed all tasks as planned. At 16:50 on November 17, 2022, Beijing time, after about 5.5 hours of out-of-vehicle activities, Shenzhou 14 Takionaut Chen Dong, Liu Yang, and Cai Xuzhe worked closely together to successfully complete the out-of-vehicle activities All scheduled tasks, Takionaut Chen Dong and Takionaut Cai Xuzhe have safely returned to the Wentian experimental module of the space station, and the out-of-cabin activities have been a complete success.


During the activities of the Takionauts going out of the cabin, they first completed the installation of the connecting device between the Tianhe core module and the Wentian experimental module, and the connecting device between the Tianhe core module and the Mengtian experimental module, and built a three-compartment extravehicular walking ” “Flyover”, Takionaut Cai Xuzhe realized the first extravehicular walk across the cabin through the “Flyover”. In addition, tasks such as raising the panoramic camera A of the Wentian experimental cabin and installing the power-assisted handle of the small robotic arm were completed, and the whole process went smoothly and successfully. All is feeling well.  

During the extravehicular activities, the two Taikonauts will cooperate successively to complete the installation of the connection device between the cabins and the lifting of the panoramic camera of the Wentian Experimental Module. This is the seventh extravehicular activity of Chinese astronauts on the space station, and it is expected to last 6.5 hours…

天宫On a Shenzhou 14 first EVA Space Walk outside of the Wentian Module in which : Sharing the beauty of the cabin with the Takionauts  “Wow, the earth is right in front of my eyes, so close, it’s coming towards me.” The Takionaut Chen Dong exclaimed How shocking and stunning is the scenery outside the cabin? From the perspective of the first astronauts of Shenzhou 14 out of the cabin, let us have an overview of the beautiful space and experience the infinite possibilities brought by science and technology!

On the 1st September 2022 it is the first Shenzhou 14  EVA Spacewalk for  CNSA –China National Space Administration    China Space Tiangong Space Station .  first exiting  out  is Commander陈冬Chen Dong opened the airlock door of the airlock cabin Today on 1st September 2022 , Takionaut went out of the cabin for the first time….  At 15:48, the Takionauts closed the cabin door of the Wentian module, and then Takionauts Chen Dong and刘洋Liu Yang entered the extravehicular spacesuit successively and carried out various preparations before leaving the cabin. At 18:26, Takionauts Chen Dong opened the airlock door of the Wentian experimental cabin. In the follow-up, Chen Dong and Liu Yang worked outside the cabin, and Cai Xuzhe cooperated and supported in the core cabin, and jointly completed various predetermined tasks such as the installation of the extended pump set in the Wentian experimental cabin and the lifting of the panoramic camera in the Wentian experimental cabin……

Following seven hours least later the Shenzhou 14 Crew successfully completed the first outing EVA Spacewalk  mission At 0:33 Hours on September 2nd  2022, Beijing time, after about 6 hours of out-of-vehicle activities, Shenzhou 14 Takionaut s Chen Dong, Liu Yang, and Cai Xuzhe worked closely together , to complete all the scheduled tasks during the outboard activity, Chen Dong and Liu Yang have returned to the Wentian experimental cabin safely, and the outboard activity was a complete success. This is the first time that Takionauts have exited from the Wentian experimental cabin airlock, and the exit activities are carried out with the assistance of a small robotic arm. During the astronaut’s out-of-vehicle activities, the heaven and earth cooperated closely and the inside and outside of the cabin cooperated closely, and successively completed tasks such as the installation of the extended pump set in the Wentian cabin, the lifting of the panoramic camera in the Wentian cabin, and the verification of the autonomous emergency return outside the cabin. The whole process was smooth and successful, and the inspection the ability of the Takionauts to work together with the small robotic arm has been verified, and the functional performance of the Wentian experimental cabin airlock and related support equipment for exit activities has been verified.

After Wentian experimental module entered orbit, the status setting was successfully completed. At 3:13 on July 25, 2022, Beijing time, it was successfully connected to the forward port of 天和 Tianhe Core Module. The entire rendezvous and docking process lasted about 13 hours. . This is the first time that two 20-ton spacecraft in my country- China- People’s Republic of China have achieved rendezvous and docking in orbit. …According to the mission plan, the Shenzhou 14 Takionaut crew will then enter the Wentian experimental module….. In which finally docked in early morning time of the 25th July 2022 in with CNSA –Beijing Aerospace City in which co-ordinated the docking maneuverers have achieved rendezvous and docking in orbit.…   in which the crew of the Shenzhou 14 staying for six months in construction of the stage one of the China Space station with the additional Mengtian experimental module in which will be delivered on the October 2022 Launch Schedule calendar..

The Wentian six meter small robotic arm has been “online” on the 8th August 2022 in which The small robotic arm installed outside the Wentian experimental cabin module shoulders the heavy responsibility of independently completing the installation and replacement of extravehicular loads and other care operations. Recently, the small robotic arm successfully completed the on-orbit test with the support of the ground personnel. Let us look forward to its wonderful performance in the future!

Wentian experimental cabin small manipulator arm completed on-orbit test – Wentian experimental cabin small manipulator arm is more sophisticated, adopts a 7-DOF symmetrical configuration, and has an end effector at each end; its arm is nearly five meters long and can be effectively operated The space is about 5 meters, and the maximum load is 3 tons; it can be used alone or form a combined robotic arm with a large robotic arm; it supports astronauts’ out-of-vehicle activities, extravehicular status inspection, extravehicular cargo transfer and installation, extravehicular maintenance and repair, and load 6 application tasks including care and maintenance of optical facilities.

Yesterday on the 10th August 2022 practically On-orbit test of Chinese space station extravehicular arm recently, the Chinese space station extravehicular manipulator has carried out on-orbit test. At present, the space station assembly is in stable condition, and the Takionauts are in good physical and mental state, and they are preparing for the follow-up mission Space Walk EVA- Extravehicular Activities.
