Why they’re there, also with the ship itself we get to explore the internal, emotional struggles that they’re going through. In the process they reach to beyond to known charted explored space.. as the five year mission continues interrupted, we see new uniforms in which paying respects to The Original Series also with new equipment with an old mothballed ship that looks like it dates back way after the foundations of the United Federation of Planets.. Of having the same look of the NX class..
