Since 1904 in Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong, the Founded Hong Kong Tramways have always been the benchmark hallmark inspiration of the MTR Corporation, in which it transported countless two hundred passengers per daily, 10.4 Million per year averagely….  Within the Hong Kong Tramway route is the countless untold stories that transited ride throughout tramways system on Hong Kong Island …. The “Ding-Ding” in which iconically called for the stopping signal bell that it makes to signal a stop onto to the various stops in between from west to east side of Hong Kong Island..  in which the Hong Kong Trams have been undergoing many evolutionary changes as it progressively moved with the times in Hong Kong’s untold Tramways stories, in which is like a time machine that collect stories from memorable timeless moments in everyone lives whom travelled within with those historic furnishings also whom watched travelled away as it grew up with the evolution of changing Hong Kong SAR city region of China –People’s Republic of China..

For the first time, HK Tramways collaborates with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil), their Resident Conductor Mr. Lio Kuokman and renowned Music Producer Mr. Chiu Tsang-hei to re-arrange Leroy Anderson’s famous orchestral piece “The Typewriter” for the creation of the “Ding Ding Music”.

Apart from the signature tram bell sound, the “Ding Ding Music” also incorporates jingles of the controller and air brakes recorded on our beloved Tram #120. We hope that everyone can now enjoy a new dimension of music journey with the company of Ding Ding!

During June2021 The World’s Leading Public Transport provider The MTR Hong Kong – Hong Kong SAR-China- People’s Republic of China..  in which ever so constantly the MTR Hong Kong have been grown innovatively providing  In order to provide faster and more convenient rail services for the residents of Hong Kong SAR –China – People’s Republic of China…. In which there’s a Tuen Ma Line in which has been fully in running..  The full Tuen Ma Line –TML line running approximately 56 kilometers running through twenty seven stations with six interchange stations in which the line will be expected to be operationally on the third quarter of 2021.. Is the longest railway line in Hong Kong connecting the West Rail Line and the Tuen Ma Line Phase 1….  #TuenMaLine​ (TML) has entered into trial operations, and our three new stations #SungWongToiStation​, #ToKwaWanStation​ and #HungHomStation​ are also gearing up for passenger service. The Tuen Ma Line (TML) full line will commence passenger service on 27 June. As the West Rail Line will become part of the TML, Hung Hom Station will be the interchange station of the TML and the East Rail Line in the future. The station has undergone a major transformation and new interchange arrangements will be in place starting from 20 June.

The Opening of the Tuen Ma Line is coming.. are you ready.. that runs in between Tuen Mun – Hung Hom – Wu Kai Sha MTR Stations in which will become the West Rail Line , Hung Hom Station will Also be Transformed…. That massive transformation and renovations will have the concourse and platforms retrofitted upgraded, with able of natural lighting like the west Kowloon Austin Road Station with Natural brightness lit given the passengers and patronages of more sense of wellness being..

The newly retrofitted platform is really spacious on the New Hung Hom Platform, with amble of community art works from the locally all walks of life contributing towards the sense of the neighbourhood  district with fine designs.. As part of the Retrofitting upgrades the restrooms and Platforms screen doors make for the better journey experiences … with the upgrades the Additionally paths connecting with East Tsim Sha Tsui and Hong Kong PolyU..

Other New Arrangements with the East Rail Line Platform with the interchange is the preparations for the opening of the full Tuen Ma Line  in which that preparation the West Rail Line Platform will be relocated in advance …. Colour labels of that preparations is follow the Fuchsia colour signage in between the twenty to twenty six of June 2021..  To change to the West Rail Line at the new platform, after the twenty six of June 2021 of the Opening of the full Tuen Ma Line follow the brown signage from twenty seven June 2021..

 Following that Brown interchange Signage with a three minute average walk reaching to that new platform… It is best to utilities fully of the MTR Mobile Planning your Journey in advance, also it may take time to get used to the new arrangements.. In which the New Interchange arrangement will continue until the commencement of the Cross harbour section of the East Rail line.

In which during Open Days of the Tuen Ma Line (TML) new stations will be held on Saturday 12th June 2021 (To Kwa Wan Station) and 13 June (Sung Wong Toi Station). Due to pandemic-control considerations, time slots will be arranged for participants of Open Days to maintain social distance also COVID-19 Precautionary Measures..  . The new stations will offer you a brand new customer experience with staff providing assistance as a roving team with a more proactive approach and several types of robots serving inside the stations.

Besides, the station design also integrates station artworks as well as the elements of local community and history to enrich passengers’ journeys. The entrances/exits also connect to different parts of the community as well as local facilities, providing you with convenient and all-weathered admits to access the district.

One thing more, the “Train Car Loading Indicator” will be introduced to provide real-time information about the estimated spatial conditions of each train compartment to serve you as a reference for train boarding.

Together with the commissioning of the Tuen Ma Line Phase 1, three new stations, i.e. Hin Keng Station, the expanded part of Diamond Hill Station and Kai Tak Station commenced service on 14 February 2020. The remaining railway section (between Kai Tak Station and Hung Hom Station) will commence service very soon, providing efficient and convenient railway service to the To Kwa Wan and Kowloon City areas, as well as bringing new vitality to the community Networking, providing more alternatives for passengers travelling to different districts.

The Tuen Ma Line also includes a number of interchange stations which enhance connectivity with the rest of the city’s railway system network..

From Friday  12TH March 2021 to Saturday 3rd April 2021, the World’s Leading Public transport provider MTR Hong Kong  MTR Corporation is collaborating with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil) to launch the new “Phil Your MTR Ride with Music” campaign to provide passengers with refreshing and relaxing musical journeys with beautiful and enchanting melodies amidst the pandemic. This video features 30 members of the HK Phil with an unprecedented scene of an orchestral setup to perform the work of renowned American composer Bernstein on a train at the depot and in an MTR station after traffic hours.

More about the music in the video: BERNSTEIN – On the Town: Times Square 1944 On the Town marked Bernstein’s Broadway debut and was a hit. Bernstein defies categorisation. He possessed an abundance of gifts and was equally noted as a composer, conductor, pianist, educator and humanist…. Two key actors, Resident Conductor Mr Lio Kuokman and Concertmaster Mr Jing Wang from HK Phil, shared their feelings on this collaboration.

A unifying element in his music, whether for the Broadway stage or the classical concert hall, is the vivid theatricality that gives it its distinct flair.

Passengers will hear five familiar music written by four renowned classical music composers including Dvořák, Mozart, Shostakovich and Wagner and performed by the HK Phil when they enter station concourses.

The Bifurcation Works of the East Rail Line is approaching their most Crucial Phase, The Works will soon connecting the operationally sections in between Hung Hom – Exhibition Center – Admiralty stations in crossing the Harbour to the Hong Kong Island by the East Rail line with the Cross Harbour Section….

in which there’s been major Tracks Modifications innovatively to carry out the complicated engineering works on the operating sections on Overhead lines as part of the massive installation work among the Advance works there will be train suspensions in between Lok Ma Chau and Lo Wu that connects towards the Tai Wai Stations in which also to Mong Kok East Station on towards Hung Hom on no Train services between Mong Kong and Hung Hom sections on certain dates..

Bifurcation works on East Rail Line is a large-scale and complex project, especially on an existing running line. The works not only include track reconfiguration, installation of overhead line and modification of part of the existing signalling system equipment, but also involve testing and fine-tuning. Despite these challenges, our team has carried out thorough planning along the way with regular inspections and tests to ensure that the works will be carried out smoothly and safely.

After the completion of the East Rail Line Cross-Harbour Section project, East Rail Line service will then extend from Hung Hom Station to Admiralty Station without the need for any interchange, providing one more option for passengers to cross the harbour. To prepare for this new train service extension to Hong Kong Island, critical bifurcation works on the East Rail Line will be carried out shortly.
