Gui Haichao graduated from the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in July 2014 with a doctorate in engineering. From July 2014 to August 2017, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at York University and Ryerson University in Canada . Since September 2017, he has worked at the School of Astronautics of the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics as a special associate researcher and doctoral supervisor. After separation, the Shenzhou 16 astronauts held high-definition cameras and flew around the spacecraft to complete a panoramic image of the space station assembly with the Earth as the background.
